The pyrometer of TUVO Instruments, also known as exhaust gas dial thermometers, or simple exhaust gas thermometers are designed for monitoring diesel engine exhausts, cooling water, oil and air-inlet temperature. With the TUVO Instruments pyrometer, you measure safely and accurately the temperature of your exhaust gasses. The pyrometer is capable of withstanding a maximum temperature of 800°C. The case of the dial is made out of bayonet lock, silicone oil-filled, AISI304/1.4301, and is IP67 certified.

TG54 Bimetal Thermometer

The WIKA TG54 bimetal thermometer has been developed and is manufactured following the EN 13190 standard. The thermometer meets the high requirements of the process industries. Especially in the chemical and petrochemical, oil and gas, power engineering and shipbuilding industries, the temperature measuring instrument manufactured from stainless steel are used successfully. The robust, hermetically sealed case with IP65 ingress protection enables use with harsh external conditions and high vibration. With a count of four different nominal sizes, an optimal matching to the available space and mounting conditions is possible. At an easily accessible point on the back of the case, the zero point can be easily corrected. The WIKA TG54 satisfies the high requirements for resistance against aggressive media. As an option, the case, the stem and the process connection can be made from 316L.

TGS55 Thermometer with switch contacts

Wherever the process temperature has to be indicated locally, and, at the same time, circuits are to be made or broken, the WIKA TGS55 bimetal thermometer with switch contact can be used. Switch contacts (electrical alarm contacts) make or break an electric control circuit dependent upon the position of the instrument pointer. The switch contacts are adjustable over the full extent of the scale range. The instrument pointer (actual value pointer) moves freely across the entire scale range, independent of the setting. The set pointer can be adjusted using a detachable adjustment key (mounted to the junction box) in the window. Switch contacts consisting of several contacts can also be set to a single set point. Contact actuation is made when the actual value pointer travels beyond or below the desired set value. As switch contacts sliding contacts, inductive contacts – for requirements to ATEX – or electronic contacts for triggering a PLC are available.

Especially in the chemical and petrochemical, oil and gas, and power engineering industries, the temperature measuring instrument completely manufactured from stainless steel is used successfully. The WIKA model 55 satisfies the high requirements for resistance against aggressive media. As an option, the case, the stem and the process connection can be made from 316Ti (1.4571) to fulfil the highest requirements. To allow optimum fitting to the process, individual insertion lengths and different process connections can be selected. When it comes to harsh climatic conditions at the place of use, the model 55 is the right choice, as it can be used at temperatures ranging from -40 °C to +70 °C (optional also up to -50 °C or -70 °C).

Model 73 Gas-actuated Thermometer

The WIKA 73 gas-actuated thermometer has been developed and is manufactured in accordance with the EN 13190 standard. The high-quality thermometer has been designed, especially for the requirements of the process industry. Especially in the chemical and petrochemical, oil and gas, and power engineering industries, the thermometer completely manufactured from stainless steel is used successfully. The stem, the process connection and the case of the gas-actuated thermometers are made from stainless steel. To allow optimum fitting to the process, individual insertion lengths and process connections are available. The thermometers have a high ingress protection of IP65 and can be used in outdoor applications even at negative temperatures. With liquid damping operation under high vibration, conditions are possible. Due to the wide variety of possible designs, the model 73 gas-actuated thermometers can be perfectly adapted to any process connection or location. With the adjustable stem and dial version, the case can be adjusted precisely to the desired viewing angle. With the contact bulb version, temperature measurements are possible without any contact with the medium, even when the pipe diameter is minimal. The contact bulb is intended for external mounting on pipes and tanks. When mounting this thermometer version, it must be ensured that the contact bulb is in contact with the measuring point over its complete length.
