S-11 Pressure Transmitter

S-11 Pressure Transmitter

1489

The WIKA S-11 pressure transmitter with flush diaphragm has been specifically designed for the measurement of viscous, paste-like, adhesive, crystallising, particle-laden and contaminated media, which would clog the pressure channel of conventional process connections. Through its optimised design, the flush process connection enables cleanability with the wetted diaphragm integrated into the process. Low-maintenance and trouble-free pressure measurement are thus also guaranteed in critical applications with frequently changing media. High accuracy, a robust design, high-quality craftsmanship and the high flexibility of configuration are key features of the model S-11. Flush process connection All process connections of the flush pressure transmitter are made of stainless steel and are fully welded and isolate the medium from the pressure measuring instrument via a positive seal. A reliable, dead-space free sealing between the process connection and the measuring medium is thus assured. For high medium temperatures of up to 150 °C (302 °F), the pressure transmitter is also available with an integrated cooling element. Specifically, for the food and beverage industry, a version with an internal system fill fluid in accordance with FDA 21 CFR 178.3750 can be chosen.

IS-3 Pressure Transmitter

IS-3 Pressure Transmitter

2440

The WIKA IS-3 pressure transmitters (replacement for IS-20 and IS-21 pressure transmitters) is ideally suited to applications in hazardous areas. These pressure transmitters have been specifically designed for the highest industrial requirements and feature the ATEX and IECEx approvals as well as a SIL rating. The model IS-3 pressure transmitter is available with measuring ranges up to 6,000 bar and is suitable for applications ranging from general machine building to high-pressure applications in the LDPE production. Design All wetted parts are manufactured from stainless steel and are fully welded. Internal sealing elements are completely avoided so that the unit can be used with nearly all media. The robust case is also made of stainless steel and provides minimum ingress protection of IP 65. IP 68 versions are also available. The process connections with flush diaphragm are particularly suitable for the measurement of viscous and contaminated media and ensure trouble-free pressure measurement at all times. The optional field case of the model IS-3 enables operation in extreme environmental conditions and is resistant to acids, bases, oils and solvents. Via the field case connection integrated into the case's head, the electrical cabling can be installed quickly and easily. Voltage supply It is recommended that the intrinsically safe variants of the IS-3 series are powered via a suitable isolated barrier. An ideal voltage supply is offered by the model KFD2-STC4-EX1 isolated barrier, see Accessories. *The WIKA IS-3 pressure transmitter is the replacement for the previous IS-20 and IS-21 pressure transmitters

LF-1 Submersible Pressure Transmitter

LF-1 Submersible Pressure Transmitter

2852

The WIKA LF-1 submersible pressure transmitter has been developed especially for the level measurement of fuels and oils. Extensive test cycles guarantee a permanent resistance and long service life in all oils and fuels as well as in aggressive crude oils and biofuels. Thanks to newly developed special cables, components made of high-alloyed stainless steel and optional overvoltage protection against lightning, the submersible pressure sensor for measurement applications in oils and fuels is also perfectly suited for use in the outdoor area. Precise level and temperature measurement with HART® communication A measurement uncertainty of max. 0.5 %, a long-term drift of 0.1 % and slight temperature errors make the WIKA LF-1 a reliable measurement solution for the monitoring of storage tanks. The additional analogue temperature output facilitates the compensation of a temperature-induced density error especially at temperatures of up to -40 … +80 °C. The integrated HART® communication can be used for scaling the measuring range and for the parameterisation of a unit, error signal, and others. Optimised electronics for battery operation The modern electronic system guarantees not only a high accuracy in the long term but also ensures a very long battery life thanks to the low power supply, low current consumption, fast response time and low-power output signals. Safety also in hazardous areas The optional intrinsically safe electronic system is authorised according to the common international standards and allows a safe worldwide application in explosive gases and vapours.

TP M 255S Temperature Calibrator

TP M 255S Temperature Calibrator

4824

The SIKA TP M 255S temperature calibrator can be used everywhere, including on-site in workshops, test and measurement rooms as well as laboratories. The SIKA TP M 255S temperature calibrator covers a broad spectrum of industries with diverse applications. The optimum thermal coupling from the block to test item is achieved with the correct adapter sleeve. Ideally, the internal diameter of the sleeve is 0.5 mm larger than the outer diameter of the test item. With the aid of the adapter sleeve, straight temperature sensors of virtually any length and width can be calibrated. The dry block covers the entire temperature range without the need to change the calibration medium. Viscosity, flash points or outgassing are of no concern. Micro bath function The use of calibration liquids offers certain advantages if temperature sensors with an unusual shape and size are to be tested. The test item is immersed directly into the liquid without an insulating air gap, resulting in direct temperature contact between the calibrator and the test item. The liquid, such as silicone oil, is chosen depending on the calibration temperature required. The continuous adjustment of the magnetic stirrer together with the removable sensor basket agitates the calibration liquid to create a large measuring zone. Furthermore, the sensor basket guarantees unhindered stirring and helps protect the tank floor.

TP3M 255E Temperature Calibrator

TP3M 255E Temperature Calibrator

The SIKA TP3M 255E temperature calibrator can be used everywhere, including on site in workshops, test and measurement rooms as well as laboratories. The SIKA TP3M 255E temperature calibrator covers a broad spectrum of industries with diverse applications. The optimum thermal coupling from the block to test item is achieved with the correct adapter sleeve. With the aid of the adapter sleeve, straight temperature sensors of virtually any length and width can be calibrated. The dry block covers the entire temperature range without the need to change the calibration medium. Viscosity, flashpoints or outgassing are of no concern. Black body function A patented infrared calibration sleeve is used to calibrate IR pyrometers or thermal imaging cameras. The special surface structure and the asymmetrical shapes create a žcavity radiatorœ with an emission factor of 0.9994, prevent the reflection of interference radiation and emit the required temperature in an ideal form. The pyrometer is simply held at the specified distance above the measurement opening, thereby forming the desired measurement area on the bottom for the calibration to be performed. A support base can be fitted directly on the unit. Surface temperature function Surface temperature sensors are calibrated using special sleeves that are fitted vertically with the required contact force. Switching the SIKA TP3M 255E temperature calibrator control to the external reference sensor creates the best possible temperature reference point on the surface of the sleeve. The reference sensor is located directly beneath the abutting face of the sleeve. The sleeve is designed in such a way that the best temperature homogeneity is achieved in the centre of the abutting face. The special design of the abutting face enables good thermal contact. There is no need to use a thermally conductive paste or other thermal conduction aids. Micro bath function The use of calibration liquids offers certain advantages if temperature sensors with an unusual shape and size are to be tested. The test item is immersed directly into the liquid without an insulating air gap, resulting in direct temperature contact between the SIKA TP3M 255E temperature calibrator and the test item.
