TR22-A Resistance Thermometer

TR22-A Resistance Thermometer

2893

The WIKA TR22-A resistance thermometer is used for temperature measurement in sanitary applications. The process connections meet the stringent requirements, in terms of materials and design, of hygienic measuring points. With increased hygienic requirements for the ambient areas around the measuring point, a stainless steel head is available in an optimised hygienic design. This enables easy cleaning of the measuring instrument, particularly for splash zones in food production. Due to the rotatable screw connection to the connection head, it is possible to loosen the connection head and to adjust it in the desired position. The connection head can be removed together with the measuring insert. This allows the resistance thermometer to be calibrated along with the whole measuring chain, i.e. without disconnecting the electrical connections. In addition, this avoids having to open the process, and thus the risk of contamination is minimised. The spring-loaded measuring insert guarantees the contact between the sensor tip and the bottom of the thermowell and thus ensures a fast response time and high accuracy. The welded junction between the thermowell and the flange makes the use of a sealing as additional material in those areas redundant which are in contact with the product.

TR31 OEM Miniature Resistance Thermometer

TR31 OEM Miniature Resistance Thermometer

4330

The WIKA TR31 OEM miniature resistance thermometer is used as universal thermometers for the measurement of liquid and gaseous media in the range -50 … 250°C (-58 … +482 °F). For application in hazardous areas, intrinsically safe versions are also available. The WIKA TR31 can be used for pressures up to 140 bar with 3 mm sensor diameters and up to 270 bar with 6 mm sensor diameters, depending on the instrument version. All electrical components are protected against humidity (IP67 or IP69K) and designed to withstand vibration (20 g, depending on instrument version). The resistance thermometer is available with direct sensor output or integrated transmitter, which can be configured individually via the PC configuration software WIKAsoft-TT. Measuring range, damping, error signalling per NAMUR NE43 and TAG no. can be adjusted. Insertion length, process connection, sensor and connection method can each be selected for the respective application within the order information. The model TR31 resistance thermometer consists of a thermowell with a fixed process connection and is screwed directly into the process. The electrical connection depends on the design and is made with an M12 x 1 circular connector or via a directly connected cable. For the M12 x 1 circular connector, an adapter for electrical connection with angular connector per DIN EN 175301-803 form A (patent, property right registered under no. 001370985) is optionally available. As a special feature, the miniature OEM resistance thermometer is also available in customer-specific designs.

TR11-A Resistance Thermometer

TR11-A Resistance Thermometer

7278

The WIKA TR11-A measuring inserts per DIN 43735 for resistance thermometers described here are designed for mounting in a protective fitting. Operation without thermowell is only recommended in specific applications. The measuring insert has been manufactured from a pipe closed on one side. The sensor is located in the tip of the measuring insert. The measuring inserts are delivered with pressure springs to ensure that the measuring inserts are pressed down to the thermowell bottom. Apart from the DIN versions, customer-specific versions are available, for example: other measuring insert lengths (also intermediate lengths) without terminal block with transmitter Type and number of sensors, accuracy and connection method can each be selected to suit the respective application. The range of applications is completed by designs without a terminal block for direct transmitter installation. Optionally, analogue or digital transmitters from the WIKA range can be installed.

TR11-C Resistance Thermometer

TR11-C Resistance Thermometer

7282

WIKA TR11-C resistance thermometers are designed for screw-fitting directly into the process, mainly in vessels and pipelines. These thermometers are suitable for liquid and gaseous media under moderate mechanical load and normal chemical conditions. The protection tube made of stainless steel is all welded and screwed into the connection head. An optional measuring insert (tubular design) can be removed without taking out the complete sensor from the plant. This enables inspection, measuring equipment monitoring or, when servicing is necessary, a replacement while the plant is running. Insertion length, process connection, protection tube design, connection head, type and number of sensors, accuracy and connection method can each be selected to suit the respective application. Optionally we can fit analogue or digital transmitters from the WIKA range into the connection head of the TR11-C.
