The L2FR reverse acting gun metal valve is installed combined with Clorius self-acting thermostats, pressure differential regulators or electric valve actuators for regulation in central heating plants, industrial plants, industrial processes or marine installations – especially in control systems for cooling as the reverse acting valve is held in a closed position using a built-in spring, the max. differential pressure, which a valve can close, depends on the spring, and when opening the valve, the actuator has to overcome the spring force.

The Clorius L2F 2-way control valve is designed for regulating hot water – and cold and hot seawater. The valve is used in connection with one of Clorius temperature regulators in control systems for industrial processes or marine installations. Design The valve components – valve body, seats, cone and spindle – are made of sea water-resistant materials with connection flanges drilled according to DIN 86021. The connection thread for the actuator is G1B. Function Without the actuator being connected, the valve is held in an open position by means of a spring. With pressure on the spindle, the valve will close. In connection with our thermostats or electronic actuators, the valves will close at rising temperatures. The linear characteristic will not cease until the flow has dropped below 4% of the full flow.
