M3F 3-way Control Valve (DN80-DN150)

M3F 3-way Control Valve (DN80-DN150)

9087

The Clorius M3F 3-way Control Valve (DN80-DN150) is designed for regulating water, lubricating oil and other liquid media and can be mounted in the pipe system as either mixing or diverting valves. However, when mounting as a diverting valve, the pressure drop is increased, compared with mounting as a mixing valve*. The valves are used in conjunction with Clorius temperature regulators for controlling industrial processes, district and central heating plants and marine installations. Design The valve components – seats and cone are made of alu bronze, the spindle is made of stainless steel. The valve body is made of cast iron EN-GJS-400-15 with flanges drilled according to EN 1092-2. The connection thread for the actuator is G1B ISO 228. The valves have two balanced single seats. The leakage rate is less than 0.5% of the full flow (according to VDI/VDE 2174). Tight between port 1(AB) og 3(B) is optional. Function Without an actuator being installed, connection A-AB is fully open, and connection B-AB completely closed using a spring. By increasing pressure on the spindle, the opening of the ports changes proportionally to the travel of the spindle. When the spindle is pressed to the bottom, connection B-AB is fully open, and connection A-AB completely closed. * If the valves are applied as diverting valves, the pressure drop will increase by 35%, and the kvs-value will decrease by 14% as against mixing valves.

4504 Temperature & Pressure Control Valve

4504 Temperature & Pressure Control Valve

9261

The AMOT 4505 combined temperature and pressure control valve is used in applications where both temperature and pressure control are required simultaneously. The AMOT 4504 Temperature and Pressure Control Valve combines temperature control, pressure regulating and pressure relief into a single manifold valve, reducing installation costs and simplifying material planning. The 4504 valve is designed to be mounted directly on the oil tank to reducing piping. The 4504 has been specifically designed and developed by AMOT Controls as pressure and temperature regulating valve for lubricating oil applications. The pilot regulates the oil pressure operated Cartridge Regulator. The pilot feed to the Regulator is taken downstream of the oil filters to sense the oil pressure. Pressure is controlled by regulating the amount of oil that is dumped through the Cartridge Regulator back to the main reservoir. The temperature of the oil is then controlled by the AMOT 4504 internally sensed 3-way temperature in the valve. The oil flow then split between flowing through a cooler external to the valve and an internal bypass that flows directly to the thermostatic elements. The flow through the internal bypass and cooled oil returning from the cooler are mixed and regulated by the temperature elements to the desired temperature before leaving the valve. The temperature and pressure regulated oil exits the valve and flows through the lube oil system filters before flowing to the equipment requiring lubrication.
