990.17 Sterile Connection Diaphragm Seal

Thanks to its flush process connection, the WIKA 990.17 diaphragm seal is optimally suited for installation in storage tanks. With a suitable welding flange, this diaphragm seal can be integrated into any type of tank or vessel. Level measurement with diaphragm seals also works with media that, due to the process, are under pressure and have high or low viscosity. The WIKA 990.17 diaphragm seal is particularly suitable for CIP cleaning processes as it meets the requirements for elevated temperatures and chemical resistance to cleaning solutions. Mounting of the diaphragm seal to the measuring instrument may be made via a direct connection, for high temperatures via a cooling element or via a flexible capillary. For the material selection, WIKA offers a variety of solutions, in which the diaphragm seal and the wetted parts can be made of identical or different materials. The wetted parts can, as an alternative, be electropolished.

The SIKA D2 digital pressure gauge is suitable for both stationary and mobile measurement and display of pressure. The SIKA D2 digital pressure gauge can be used as a reference to explain the checking, adjustment and calibration of other pressure measurement devices directly on-site. Display The large illuminated digital local display shows the measured pressure and indicates the current status of the digital pressure gauge, even under poor lighting conditions. This eliminates the difficult task of reading a dial gauge and avoiding parallax errors. Needle jitter due to vibration or pressure fluctuations is eliminated. Display damping or averaging can be configured directly using display filters. This ensures easy, tireless readout. Protection class High IP protection classes (IP67 (front) / IP67) are available to minimise dust and water sensitivity. Rugged, impact-resistant digital pressure gauges are fitted with rubber caps for protection during transport and field use. Battery operation / Auto-Off Power is supplied by long-life batteries (ordinary or rechargeable). An external AC adapter can also be used. To increase battery operating time, a Programmable Auto-Off function switches off the power to the instrument after prolonged inactivity. The electronics are designed for extremely low power consumption, which enables battery life of significantly more than 1500 hours.

The Danfoss CS pressure switch series has a built-in pressure operated, three-pole switch. The contact position of which depends on the pressure in the connector and the range setting and adjustable differential. The Danfoss CS pressure switches are fitted with a manual switch that will lock the contact system in the open position independently of the pressure in the system. Pressure switches with relief valve are used in compressed air systems where pressure relief on the compressor piston before the start is required. The WIKA CPG-KITP pneumatic service kit is the ideal tool for the pneumatic testing, adjustment and calibration of mechanical and electronic pressure measuring instruments through comparative measurements or for the setting of pressure switches. These and other tests can take place quickly and reliably in the laboratory or workshop, or on-site at the measuring point. With the service kit, service and maintenance are more complete, safer and more flexible. The kit is high-quality finish, handy and robust and is also suitable for service use. Components The service kit consists of a pneumatic hand test pump for the generation of defined test pressure and also a highly accurate WIKA CPG1500 precision digital pressure gauge as a reference instrument. Air is used as the pressure medium. Various connection adapters are also available in the test case. All components are carefully stowed in the case and protected for in-house transport. Simple function If one connects the test item and the WIKA CPG1500 precision digital pressure gauge to the test pump, on actuating the pump, the same pressure will act on both instruments. Using the fine adjustment valve, the test pressure is set precisely. By comparison of the two measured values at any given pressure value, a check of the accuracy and/or adjustment of the pressure measuring instrument under test can be carried out. WIKA-CAL software The collected data from the data logger of the digital pressure gauge can be transmitted wirelessly to the WIKA-CAL calibration software for further evaluation.
