990.23 Diaphragm Seal

2279

The WIKA 990.23 diaphragm seal has been developed for use in pulp manufacture or waste-paper processing applications. Mounting of the diaphragm seal to the measuring instrument may be made via a direct connection, for high temperatures via a cooling element or via a flexible capillary. Optionally, there are pipe elbows and vibration dampers available. For the material selection, WIKA offers a variety of solutions, in which the upper body of the diaphragm seal and the wetted parts can be made of identical or different materials. The wetted parts can, as an alternative, be coated. Applications Chemical pulp manufacture Recovered/recycled paper treatment For highly viscous, aggressive or hardening media

981.22 In-Line Diaphragm Seal

981.22 In-Line Diaphragm Seal

2300

The WIKA 981.22, 981.52 and 981.53 in-line diaphragm seals are suitable for use in the measurement of flowing media. In addition to avoiding potential blockages in the process, in-line measurement technology also contributes to securing product quality, mainly through its perfect cleanability. Due to the continuous cylindrical diaphragm, the measuring locations feature neither dead spaces nor non-flushable branches. The good cleanability of the in-line diaphragm seals has been tested and confirmed by independent institutions (e.g. EHEDG, BioProcessing Institute). The diaphragm seals can withstand the cleaning vapour temperatures occurring in the SIP processes and thus ensure a sterile connection between the medium to be measured and the diaphragm seal. Mounting of the diaphragm seal to the measuring instrument may be made via a direct connection, for high temperatures via a cooling element or via a flexible capillary. The availability of in-line diaphragm seals for common pipe standards and nominal widths simplifies integration into already existing pipe cross-sections.

981.5x In-Line Diaphragm Seal

981.5x In-Line Diaphragm Seal

3106

The WIKA 981.52 and 981.53 In-Line diaphragm seals with clamp connections, due to their circular design, can be mounted directly into the pipeline, meaning no special measuring point connection is required. Through the integration into the process line, turbulences, dead spaces, corners and other obstructions can be avoided. For this diaphragm seal, WIKA uses a completely round diaphragm, which, due to the unobstructed flow of the media, produces an automatic cleaning of the chamber. The diaphragm seal systems can withstand the cleaning vapour temperatures occurring in the SIP processes and thus ensure a sterile connection between the medium to be measured and the diaphragm seal. Assembly of the diaphragm seal and measuring instrument is made via a direct assembly as standard or optionally via a cooling element or a flexible capillary. For the material selection, WIKA offers a variety of solutions, in which the upper body and the diaphragm are made of identical materials. Stainless steel 316L (1.4435) is used as standard material, other special materials are available on request. Measuring systems with model 981.22 , 981.52 and 981.53 WIKA diaphragm seals are successfully used in the life science industry, in food production, pharmaceutical and biotechnology applications.

D-Ex Digital Pressure Gauge

D-Ex Digital Pressure Gauge

4877

The SIKA D-Ex digital pressure gauge is suitable for both stationary and mobile measurement and display of pressure. The SIKA D-Ex digital pressure gauge can be used as a reference to explain the checking, adjustment and calibration of other pressure measurement devices directly on-site. High accuracy in the signal acquisition is achieved by using high-performance measuring cells with electronic linearisation of the characteristic curve. Suitable instruments are available for a wide variety of measurement tasks. Ease of use is assured by innovative design and advanced technology. All essential functions for everyday use can be selected conveniently at the press of a button. Excellent protection against dust and moisture is provided by a membrane keypad or rubber buttons. Integrated supplementary functions make our digital pressure gauges true all-rounders. Tare / Zero-Function User-defined zero point setting at the push of a button makes offset adjustment easy and eliminates the need for tedious mechanical adjustment. Single-point adjustment allows the linear characteristic curve to be shifted in positive or negative direction over the entire measuring range. Selectable pressure units Another feature is the large selection of pressure units. Up to 6 different units are possible “ far more than any complicated dual-scale or multi-scale gauge can offer. The required display unit is selected directly on the digital pressure gauge and is indicated on display. No conversion necessary; the desired value can be read directly. Min / Max Displays and Peak function Experience shows that excess pressure and pressure peaks significantly higher than normal operating pressure occur at some measuring points. Min / max displays and fast peak value measurement cycles in digital pressure gauges assist in system analysis and allow peak values to be determined. This allows incorrect readings and violations of range limits to be detected and helps avoid damage to pressure systems. Preventive service is often less expensive than repairing or replacing defective instruments.

Digital Pressure Gauge Type J

Digital Pressure Gauge Type J

4892

The SIKA Type J digital pressure gauge is suitable for both stationary and mobile measurement and display of pressure. The SIKA Type J digital pressure gauge can be used as a reference to explain the checking, adjustment and calibration of other pressure measurement devices directly on-site. PC connection and software Many digital pressure gauges have a serial interface port to allow measurement values and stored data to be transferred directly to a PC and documented. An inexpensive measurement data acquisition system can easily be assembled with suitable software and an interface converter. Processes can be readily monitored and analysed using the recorded and visualised measurements, and all data can be exported using standard programs such as Microsoft Excel. Remote control is also possible. Various software packages with extensive recording and display functions, logger and alarm evaluation as well as for calibration are available. Analogue output An electrical output signal enables remote display on a control console or in a control room as well as the connection of external recorders and indicating instruments. Relay output Digital pressure gauges allow limit contacts to be closed even at low pressures. There is no need for high actuation forces for magnetic spring or inductive contacts, which makes it easier to signal critical equipment conditions and perform supplementary control tasks.
