990.24 Sterile Connection Diaphragm Seal
2294
Due to their hygienic process connection, the WIKA 990.24 sterile connection diaphragm seals are particularly well suited for food production. With this diaphragm seal, pressure measuring instruments can be integrated, dead-space free, into a pipeline using a VARINLINE® access unit or in tanks using a connecting flange for VARINLINE® access units. The diaphragm seals can withstand the cleaning vapour temperatures occurring in the CIP and SIP processes and thus ensure a sterile connection between the medium to be measured and the diaphragm seal. Mounting of the diaphragm seal to the measuring instrument may be made via a direct connection, for high temperatures via a cooling element or via a flexible capillary. For the material selection, WIKA offers a variety of solutions, in which the upper body of the diaphragm seal and the wetted parts can be made of identical or different materials. The wetted parts can, as an alternative, be electropolished.

VTY 20 Turbine Flow Sensor
2808
The SIKA VTY 20 turbine flow sensor gives you precise and robust products to measure flow rates or total flows, for water and water mixtures. Turbine flow sensors of the series VTY stainless steel were specially developed for the use in industrial applications. The sensors are particularly suitable for use in, e.g. dosing systems, heaters, coolers or temperature control units. The liquid flowing into the turbine flow sensor is split into individual jets by the flow straightener. These jets hit the rotor evenly, setting the rotor in motion. The rotation speed of the rotor is then converted to an electrical pulse signal (frequency): The rotor is fitted with magnets, and a Hall effect sensor detects the rotation of the rotor. A flow-proportional frequency signal (square-wave signal) is made available. Given the uniform inflow to the bearing, the forces largely cancel themselves out and wear reduced to a minimum. The sturdy bearing materials – sapphire and hard metal – also guarantee an exceptionally long endurance.

Digital Pressure Gauge Type P
4886
The SIKA Type P digital pressure gauge is suitable for both stationary and mobile measurement and display of pressure. The SIKA Type P digital pressure gauge can be used as a reference to explain the checking, adjustment and calibration of other pressure measurement devices directly on-site. Linearisation Multi-point adjustment can be performed if it is necessary to adjust the indicated values at different test points. Two-point adjustment is available for setting the zero point and slope of the measuring cell curve. Type P digital pressure gauges allow up to six offset values to be programmed to shift the characteristic curve to meet the most stringent customer expectations. PC connection and software Many digital pressure gauges have a serial interface port to allow measurement values and stored data to be transferred directly to a PC and documented. An inexpensive measurement data acquisition system can easily be assembled with suitable software and an interface converter. Processes can be readily monitored and analysed using the recorded and visualised measurements, and all data can be exported using standard programs such as Microsoft Excel. Remote control is also possible. Various software packages with extensive recording and display functions, logger and alarm evaluation as well as for calibration are available. Analogue output An electrical output signal enables remote display on a control console or in a control room as well as the connection of external recorders and indicating instruments. Relay output Digital pressure gauges allow limit contacts to be closed even at low pressures. There is no need for high actuation forces for magnetic spring or inductive contacts, which makes it easier to signal critical equipment conditions and perform supplementary control tasks.

C2 Digital Pressure Gauge
4889
The SIKA C2 digital pressure gauge is suitable for both stationary and mobile measurement and display of pressure. The SIKA C2 digital pressure gauge can be used as a reference to explain the checking, adjustment and calibration of other pressure measurement devices directly on-site. High accuracy in a signal acquisition is achieved by using high-performance measuring cells with electronic linearisation of the characteristic curve. Suitable instruments are available for a wide variety of measurement tasks. Ease of use is assured by innovative design and advanced technology. All essential functions for everyday use can be selected conveniently at the press of a button. Excellent protection against dust and moisture is provided by a membrane keypad or rubber buttons. Integrated supplementary functions make our digital pressure gauges true all-rounders. Display The large illuminated digital local display shows the measured pressure and indicates the current status of the digital pressure gauge, even under poor lighting conditions. This eliminates the difficult task of reading a dial gauge and avoiding parallax errors. Needle jitter due to vibration or pressure fluctuations is eliminated. Display damping or averaging can be configured directly using display filters. This ensures easy, tireless readout. Protection class High IP protection classes (IP67 (front) / IP67) are available to minimise dust and water sensitivity. Rugged, impact-resistant digital pressure gauges are fitted with rubber caps for protection during transport and field use. Battery operation / Auto-Off Power is supplied by long-life batteries (ordinary or rechargeable). An external AC adapter can also be used. To increase battery operating time, a Programmable Auto-Off function switches off the power to the instrument after prolonged inactivity. The electronics are designed for extremely low power consumption, which enables battery life of significantly more than 1500 hours.

VMI 20 Magnetic Inductive Flow Sensor
7647
Due to the robust metal housing and stable metal process connections, the SIKA VMI 20 is ideal for use in the field of mechanical engineering and plant construction. Its design also makes it suitable for higher temperatures and process pressures, and the instrument is available in three different sizes. All sensors will be delivered with a works calibration certificate. The smart flow sensors of the SIKA VMI 20 induQ® series operate according to the principle of induction: The measuring pipe is in a magnetic field (B). If an electrically conductive medium, with the flow (Q) to be measured, flows through the measuring pipe and thereby at a right-angle to the magnetic field, a voltage (U) is induced in the medium. This voltage is proportional to the average flow velocity and is picked up by two electrodes. Regarding flow proportional output signals, two versions are available: Frequency output signal (standard) Analog and frequency output signal (option) The pulse rate can be configured at the factory. The induQ® sensors enable the flow measurement/volume flow measurement or dosing of electrically conductive liquids without any moving parts. They are the ideal flow sensors when accuracy and reliability are a must.
