The Danfoss MBS 8200 pressure transmitters is developed to withstand the pressure pulsations and vibrations known in wind turbine applications. A new technology combining piezo resistive sensor element and programmable gain amplifiers makes the MBS 8200 the obvious choice for applications demanding the highest accuracy and insensitiveness against temperature variations. Further, this technology enhances functional safety by limiting the output signal at excess pressure conditions. It allows excellent sink/source capabilities. It leaves the pressure transmitters unaffected by electromagnetic fields up to 100 V/m. The Danfoss MBS 8250 pressure transmitter with integrated pulse-snubber is designed for use in hydraulic applications with severe media influences like cavitation, liquid hammer or pressure peaks and offers a reliable pressure measurement, even under harsh environmental conditions.

The Danfoss KPS thermostat and pressure switch series consists of a series of pressure and temperature controlled switches. In the Danfoss KPS series, special attention has been given to meeting demands for a high level of enclosure, robust and compact construction, and resistance to shock and vibration. For the Danfoss KPS pressure switches, the position of the contacts depends on the pressure in the inlet connection and the set scale value. For KPS thermostats, the position of the contacts depends on the temperature of the sensor and the fixed scale value. Due to their hygienic process connection, the WIKA 990.22, 990.52 and 990.53 diaphragm seals with sterile connection are particularly well suited for food production, pharmaceutical and biotechnology applications. The diaphragm seals can withstand the cleaning vapour temperatures occurring in the SIP processes and thus ensure a sterile connection between the medium to be measured and the diaphragm seal. Mounting of the diaphragm seal to the measuring instrument may be made via a direct connection, for high temperatures via a cooling element or via a flexible capillary. For the material selection, WIKA offers a variety of solutions, in which the upper body of the diaphragm seal and the wetted parts can be made of identical or different materials. The wetted parts can, as an alternative, be electropolished.

The SIKA VTM 40 turbine flow sensor is made for flow measurement or dosing applications for liquids. Because of the very compact design, the extensive measuring range and the convincing precision of measurements, almost unlimited applications are possible. The sturdy bearing materials – sapphire and tungsten carbide – also guarantee an exceptionally long endurance. The liquid flowing into the SIKA VTM 40 turbine flow sensor is split into individual jets by the guiding blade. These jets hit the rotor evenly from different directions, setting the rotor in motion. The rotation speed of the rotor is then converted to an electrical pulse signal (frequency): The rotor is fitted with magnets and a Hall effect sensor detects the rotation of the rotor. A flow-proportional frequency signal (square-wave signal) is made available. The construction of the guiding blade and rotor enables to realize the very low start-up flow values.
