The SIKA VH500 paddle flow switch is modelled for applications such as cooling water monitoring, leak monitoring, and lubrication control. The SIKA VH 500 is placed with its paddle in flowing medium, which triggers the paddle. The resulting dynamic pressure causes the paddle to travel, which causes the actuation of integrated micro switches. SIKA flow switches monitor the flow of low-viscosity media in pipes. They offer a reliable solution for ensuring the minimum flow rate and thereby protecting high-quality systems and installations from damages. These flow switches work based on the well- established mechanical operating principles. Thanks to the different paddle lengths, the switch points of the paddle flow switches can be configured for a wide switching range.

The WIKA CPG1500 precision digital pressure gauge takes the concept of an analogue gauge and raises it to a level only matched by digital calibrators. The accuracy of digital measurement technology and the simplicity of an analogue gauge are combined to create the digital pressure gauge CPG1500, which in terms of performance, ease-of-use, and instrument features, is unmatched in the pressure measurement market. The WIKA CPG1500 offers an accuracy of 0.1 % FS (optional 0.05 % FS or 0.025 % FS) and is temperature-compensated in the range of -10 ¦ +50 °C (14 … 122 °F). Readings can be displayed in one of 26 pressure and 5 level units or also in customer-specific units, so that intricate conversion is avoided. The measuring rate can be user-defined to match the type of measurement required. Standard applications usually use three measured values per second. If required, this rate can also be set to 50 measured values per second. Via an energy-saving function, the CPG1500 switches automatically into œsleep mode, in this mode, the battery life can be increased up to 2,500 hours. Through the new and innovative menu navigation, simple operation is ensured. The clear display, with integral bar graph display and large text area, assists with the effective analysis of the widest variety of measuring points. With the MIN/MAX function, the highest and lowest pressures can be accessed immediately and saved automatically.

P 40.2 Pneumatic Hand Test Pump

The SIKA P 40.2 pneumatic hand test pump is designed to enable the direct connection of all pressure systems to be tested using adapters. The test sample is easily connected using the rugged industrial hose with integrated quick coupling and supplied adapters. The reference is fitted directly at the top of the pump using a positioning adapter. The required test pressure is initially generated using the handles and then adjusted precisely with the fine adjustment valve. As a result, the pressure on both instruments is the same. The pressure relief valve allows continuous pressure reduction and ensures accurate and easy testing, even with decreasing pressure. Air is used as pressure media. Especially in application areas in which wetting of the test sample is not allowed, or the use of aggressive or ionising substances must be avoided, air is the ideal test medium. SIKA˜s pneumatic test pump type P40.2 fulfils requirements that in many cases can only be covered by several pumps from other suppliers. In the simplest case, the pressure is indicated by an analogue pressure gauge. An easy to read digital pressure gauge or hand-held instrument can also be used. The accuracy or adjustment of the pressure measuring device being tested can be checked by comparing the indicated reference value with the measured value for the device under test. OEM version and full version Depending on the model a matching pressure hose is part of the basic configuration of the OEM version of the test pump. The hydraulic hoses are fitted with a self-sealing quick coupling. Inch, conical or metric adapters for all commonly used connection threads are available in the full version. A matching seal kit is also included with the pump. All of the equipment is held in a carrying case with a foam-rubber insert.

Min / max displays and fast peak value measurement cycles in digital pressure gauges assist in system analysis and allow peak values to be determined. This allows incorrect readings and violations of range limits to be detected and helps avoid damage to pressure systems. The SIKA Type P digital pressure gauge can be used as a reference to explain the checking, adjustment and calibration of other pressure measurement devices directly on-site. Linearisation Multi-point adjustment can be performed if it is necessary to adjust the indicated values at different test points. Two-point adjustment is available for setting the zero point and slope of the measuring cell curve. Type P digital pressure gauges allow up to six offset values to be programmed to shift the characteristic curve to meet the most stringent customer expectations. PC connection and software Many digital pressure gauges have a serial interface port to allow measurement values and stored data to be transferred directly to a PC and documented. An inexpensive measurement data acquisition system can easily be assembled with suitable software and an interface converter. Processes can be readily monitored and analysed using the recorded and visualised measurements, and all data can be exported using standard programs such as Microsoft Excel. Remote control is also possible. Various software packages with extensive recording and display functions, logger and alarm evaluation as well as for calibration are available. Analogue output An electrical output signal enables remote display on a control console or in a control room as well as the connection of external recorders and indicating instruments. Relay output Digital pressure gauges allow limit contacts to be closed even at low pressures. There is no need for high actuation forces for magnetic spring or inductive contacts, which makes it easier to signal critical equipment conditions and perform supplementary control tasks.

The Danfoss CS pressure switch series has a built-in pressure operated, three-pole switch. The contact position of which depends on the pressure in the connector and the range setting and adjustable differential. The Danfoss CS pressure switches are fitted with a manual switch that will lock the contact system in the open position independently of the pressure in the system. Pressure switches with relief valve are used in compressed air systems where pressure relief on the compressor piston before the start is required. The CS is suited for an automatic start and stop of air compressors and water boosters.
