990.24 Sterile Connection Diaphragm Seal

990.24 Sterile Connection Diaphragm Seal

2294

Due to their hygienic process connection, the WIKA 990.24 sterile connection diaphragm seals are particularly well suited for food production. With this diaphragm seal, pressure measuring instruments can be integrated, dead-space free, into a pipeline using a VARINLINE® access unit or in tanks using a connecting flange for VARINLINE® access units. The diaphragm seals can withstand the cleaning vapour temperatures occurring in the CIP and SIP processes and thus ensure a sterile connection between the medium to be measured and the diaphragm seal. Mounting of the diaphragm seal to the measuring instrument may be made via a direct connection, for high temperatures via a cooling element or via a flexible capillary. For the material selection, WIKA offers a variety of solutions, in which the upper body of the diaphragm seal and the wetted parts can be made of identical or different materials. The wetted parts can, as an alternative, be electropolished.

CPC4000 Pressure Controller

CPC4000 Pressure Controller

2693

The WIKA CPC4000 industrial pressure controller offers a broad pressure range from -1 ¦ 210 bar. This instrument is available as a desktop or as a 19″ rack-mounting kit. It can have up to two reference pressure sensors and an optional barometer for displaying barometric pressure or be used to emulate gauge or absolute pressure. Since the CPC4000 offers an accuracy of up to 0.02 % IS-50, and controls pressure with a high stability, it is particularly suited as a production tool for transmitter manufacturing, a calibration and maintenance tool for pressure measuring instruments or as a factory/working standard for the calibration of all types of pressure measuring instruments. The leak test and burst test special applications allow CPC4000 to be used as a pressure line testing equipment. The optional automatic contamination prevention system make the CPC4000 an ideal solution in oil and gas plants. Maximum ease-of-use is achieved through the touchscreen and the simple and intuitive menu navigation. In addition, the large number of menu languages add to its operability. The instrument can have up to two internal pressure sensors and the ranges for each reference pressure sensor are determined by the customer within the allowable range. Depending on the application, the operator can choose between three set-point entry methods: Direct entry of the pressure value (set point) which will be controlled via touchscreen keypad. Define steps to reach the desired pressure value by either defining fixed pressure increments or a percentage of span value. User-defined programmable test sequences.

P 40.2 Pneumatic Hand Test Pump

P 40.2 Pneumatic Hand Test Pump

4868

The SIKA P 40.2 pneumatic hand test pump is designed to enable the direct connection of all pressure systems to be tested using adapters. The test sample is easily connected using the rugged industrial hose with integrated quick coupling and supplied adapters. The reference is fitted directly at the top of the pump using a positioning adapter. The required test pressure is initially generated using the handles and then adjusted precisely with the fine adjustment valve. As a result, the pressure on both instruments is the same. The pressure relief valve allows continuous pressure reduction and ensures accurate and easy testing, even with decreasing pressure. Air is used as pressure media. Especially in application areas in which wetting of the test sample is not allowed, or the use of aggressive or ionising substances must be avoided, air is the ideal test medium. SIKA˜s pneumatic test pump type P40.2 fulfils requirements that in many cases can only be covered by several pumps from other suppliers. In the simplest case, the pressure is indicated by an analogue pressure gauge. An easy to read digital pressure gauge or hand-held instrument can also be used. The accuracy or adjustment of the pressure measuring device being tested can be checked by comparing the indicated reference value with the measured value for the device under test. OEM version and full version Depending on the model a matching pressure hose is part of the basic configuration of the OEM version of the test pump. The hydraulic hoses are fitted with a self-sealing quick coupling. Inch, conical or metric adapters for all commonly used connection threads are available in the full version. A matching seal kit is also included with the pump. All of the equipment is held in a carrying case with a foam-rubber insert.

L-Ex Digital Pressure Gauge

L-Ex Digital Pressure Gauge

4895

The SIKA L-Ex digital pressure gauge is suitable for both stationary and mobile measurement and display of pressure. The SIKA L-Ex digital pressure gauge can be used as a reference to explain the checking, adjustment and calibration of other pressure measurement devices directly on-site. High accuracy in the signal acquisition is achieved by using high-performance measuring cells with electronic linearisation of the characteristic curve. Suitable instruments are available for a wide variety of measurement tasks. Ease of use is assured by innovative design and advanced technology. All essential functions for everyday use can be selected conveniently at the press of a button. Excellent protection against dust and moisture is provided by a membrane keypad or rubber buttons. Integrated supplementary functions make our digital pressure gauges true all-rounders. PC connection and software Many digital pressure gauges have a serial interface port to allow measurement values and stored data to be transferred directly to a PC and documented. An inexpensive measurement data acquisition system can easily be assembled with suitable software and an interface converter. Processes can be readily monitored and analysed using the recorded and visualised measurements, and all data can be exported using standard programs such as Microsoft Excel. A remote control is also possible. Various software packages with extensive recording and display functions, logger and alarm evaluation as well as for calibration are available. Analogue output An electrical output signal enables remote display on a control console or in a control room as well as the connection of external recorders and indicating instruments. Relay output Digital pressure gauges allow limit contacts to be closed even at low pressures. There is no need for high actuation forces for magnetic spring or inductive contacts, which makes it easier to signal critical equipment conditions and perform supplementary control tasks.

VZVA Positive Displacement Flow Sensor

VZVA Positive Displacement Flow Sensor

7830

SIKA's gearwheel type VZVA positive displacement flow sensor records volume flows of liquids with both high and changing viscosities. The high-precision sensors work according to the displacement principle. The high resolution combined with reliable measurement accuracy makes the sensors especially useful for applications involving the measurement of small and minimal volumes. A very precisely adjusted gear pair within the casing forms the measuring element. The inflowing medium causes the gear pair to rotate. Contactless sensors scan the rotary motion. Since each tooth generates a pulse, this results in a very high resolution. Consequently, even the smallest volumes can be measured or dosed precisely. The measurement unit contains two pick-offs that are circumferentially offset by ¼ of a tooth pitch to generate a two-channel flow-proportional frequency signal. Suitable processing of the signal provides a higher resolution and the option to identify the flow direction. The maximum pressure drop should not exceed 16 bar. This limits the measurement range of high viscosity media (see pressure drop diagrams). The measurement accuracy increases with an increase in viscosity of the media.
