990.60 Sterile Connection Diaphragm Seal

The WIKA 990.60 sterile connection diaphragm seal with NEUMO BioControl® connection is particularly suited for use in sterile processes and is adapted to the process via the NEUMO BioControl® housing. This enables a hygienic integration of measuring instruments into pipelines or, by means of block flanges, into tanks or fermenters. The diaphragm seal systems can withstand the cleaning vapour temperatures occurring in the SIP processes and thus ensure a sterile connection between the medium to be measured and the diaphragm seal. Assembly of the diaphragm seal and measuring instrument is made via a direct assembly as standard or optionally via a cooling element or a flexible capillary. For the material selection, WIKA offers a variety of solutions, in which the upper body and the diaphragm are made of identical materials. Stainless steel 316L (1.4435) is used as standard material. Other special materials are available on request. Measuring systems with WIKA 990.60 WIKA diaphragm seals are successfully used in the life science industry, in pharmaceutical and biotechnology applications.

The Clorius S2FM-T control valve is a three-way control valve with a blocked port making a two-way control valve. The slide for a quarter-turn operation designed for regulating freshwater, lubricating oil and other liquid media. The S2FM-T control valve is designed for use in conjunction with industrial processes, district heating and marine installations with large water or lubricating oil quantities. The valves are designed for use in conjunction with valve motor type CAR with handle for manual operation or for use in conjunction with a pneumatic actuator. Design The valve body and the valve slide are made of stainless steel AISI316. The valve flanges are drilled according to EN 1092-2. Optional: ANSI, JIS and Grooved Victalic Joints. Function The slide is firmly connected with the motor spindle. When the slide is in the one extreme position by turning the spindle, connection A-AB is kept fully open. In the other extreme position connection, the valve is fully closed. In the intermediate positions, the opening degrees change proportionally. The valve has a small tolerance between the body and slide. To minimize the leakage an O-ring is mounted in a groove on the slide.

Valves can also be supplied in AB-Left conï¬guration and AB-Middle. The slide is firmly connected with the actuator spindle. When the slide is in the one outer position by turning the spindle, connection A-AB is fully open and connection B-AB is fully closed. In the other outer position, connection A-AB is fully closed, and connection B-AB is fully open. In the intermediate positions, the opening degrees change proportionally. The valve has a minimum gap between the body and slide. To minimize the leakage, an O-ring is mounted in a groove on the slide.

In the other outer position, connection A-AB is fully closed, and connection B-AB is fully open. In the intermediate positions, the opening degrees change proportionally.
