PG23CP Bourdon Tube Pressure Gauge

PG23CP Bourdon Tube Pressure Gauge

2560

The high-quality WIKA PG23CP pressure gauge has been designed specifically for the requirements within the process industry. This safety pressure gauge is mainly used for applications in the chemical and petrochemical industry, the oil and gas industry, power engineering and also in water/wastewater technology. Typical measuring points are on control units and control panels such as hydraulic power units (HPUs). For secure mounting of the instrument, a high-quality front bezel is used. The mounting situations mainly require an IP 66 ingress protection. For this reason, the sealing of the model PG23CP to the panel is made using a fully welded mounting ring and a matched flat gasket. Pressure gauges for the process industry are manufactured completely from stainless steel for increased corrosion resistance. This enables use in the measurement of aggressive gaseous or liquid media, also in aggressive ambience. In the EN 837-1 standard for pressure gauges, safety versions are defined. For most applications, a safety version is not required. WIKA already manufactures the model PG23CP in the œS1 safety version. This design includes an additional blow-out opening, which vents any impermissible overpressure in the case (e.g. from a burst Bourdon tube) through the back of the case. For harsh operating conditions (e.g. vibration), all instruments are also available with an optional liquid filling.

PGT43.100 / 43.160 Diaphragm Pressure Gauge

Wherever the process pressure has to be indicated locally and, at the same time, a signal transmission to the central control or remote centre is desired, the WIKA PGT43.100 / 43.160 diaphragm pressure gauge intelliGAUGE® (patent, property right: e.g. DE 202007019025) can be used. The WIKA PGT43 is based upon a WIKA 43x.30 high-quality, stainless steel safety pressure gauge with a nominal size of 100 or 160. The pressure measuring instrument is manufactured in accordance with EN 837-3. The intelliGAUGE WIKA PGT43.100 / 43.160 diaphragm pressure gauge fulfils all safety-related requirements of the relevant standards and regulations for the on-site display of the working pressure of pressure vessels. The robust diaphragm measuring system produces a pointer rotation proportional to the pressure. An electronic angle encoder, proven in safety-critical automotive applications, determines the position of the pointer shaft “ it is a non-contact sensor and therefore completely free from wear and friction. From this, the electrical output signal proportional to the pressure, e.g. 4 … 20 mA, is produced. The measuring span (electrical output signal) is adjusted automatically along with the mechanical display, i.e. the scale over the full display range corresponds to 4 … 20 mA. The electrical zero point can also be set manually. The electronic WIKA sensor, integrated into the high-quality diaphragm pressure gauge, combines the advantages of electrical signal transmission with a local mechanical display that remains readable during a power failure. An additional measuring point for mechanical pressure display can thus be saved.

Wherever the process pressure has to be indicated locally and, at the same time, circuits need to be switched, the WIKA PGS23.100 and PGS23.160 switchGAUGE finds its use. Switch contacts (electrical switch contacts) make or break an electric control circuit dependent upon the pointer position of the indicating measuring instrument. The switch contacts are adjustable over the full extent of the scale range (see DIN 16085), and are mounted predominantly below the dial, though also partly on top of the dial. The instrument pointer (actual value pointer) moves freely across the entire scale range, independent of the setting. The set pointer can be adjusted using a removable adjustment key in the window. Switch contacts consisting of several contacts can also be set to a single set point. Contact actuation is made when the actual value pointer travels beyond or below the desired set point. The pressure gauge is manufactured in accordance with DIN 16085 and fulfils all requirements of the relevant standards (EN 837-1) and regulations for the on-site display of the working pressure of pressure vessels. As switch contacts, magnetic snap-action contacts, reed switches, inductive contacts and electronic contacts are available. Inductive contacts can be used in hazardous areas. For triggering programmable logic controllers (PLC), electronic contacts and reed switches can be used.

6939

The WIKA 332.30 / 333.30 high-quality test gauge has been specifically designed for increased safety requirements during high-accuracy pressure measurements and is suited for calibration tasks. With an accuracy class of 0.6 %, the Bourdon tube pressure gauge is suitable for testing industrial type pressure gauges or for precision measurement in laboratories. Optionally, an accuracy class of 0.25 % is possible for pressures up to 400 bar. The wear-resistant precision movement, the wetted parts and the case are made from high-grade stainless steel. WIKA manufactures and qualifies the Bourdon tube pressure gauge in accordance with the requirements of the EN 837-1 European standard in the S3 safety version. The safety version is made up of a non-splintering window, a solid baffle wall between measuring system and dial and a blow-out back. In the event of a failure, the operator is protected at the front side, as media or components can only be ejected via the back of the case. For harsh operating conditions (e.g. vibrations), all instruments are also available with an optional liquid filling. The optimal readability of the instrument, with a nominal size of 160 mm, is achieved via a knife-edge pointer and a dial with fine divisions. Supported through the optional mirror band scale, the parallax error can be eliminated.

VMZ 25 Magnetic Inductive Flow Sensor

VMZ 25 Magnetic Inductive Flow Sensor

7633

The SIKA VMZ 25 magnetic inductive flow sensor for electrically conductive liquids is designed for OEM applications. Thanks to the use of cost-optimized plastic components, the SIKA VMZ 25 has a compact and lightweight design. The smart flow sensors of the SIKA VMZ 25 induQ® series operate according to the principle of induction: The measuring pipe is in a magnetic field (B). If an electrically conductive medium, with the flow (Q) to be measured, flows through the measuring pipe and thereby at a right-angle to the magnetic field, a voltage (U) is induced in the medium. This voltage is proportional to the average flow velocity and is picked up by two electrodes. Regarding flow proportional output signals, two versions are available: Frequency output signal (standard) Analog and frequency output signal (option) The pulse rate can be configured at the factory. The induQ® sensors enable the flow measurement/volume flow measurement or dosing of electrically conductive liquids without any moving parts. They are the ideal flow sensors when accuracy and reliability are a must.

VTL 20 Turbine Flow Sensor

VTL 20 Turbine Flow Sensor

7811

The SIKA VTL 20 turbine flow sensor is made for flow measurement or dosing applications for liquids. Because of the very compact design, the extensive measuring range and the convincing precision of measurements, almost unlimited applications are possible. The sturdy bearing materials – sapphire and tungsten carbide – also guarantee an exceptionally long endurance. The liquid flowing into the SIKA VTL 20 turbine flow sensor is split into individual jets by the guiding blade. These jets hit the rotor evenly from different directions, setting the rotor in motion. The rotation speed of the rotor is then converted to an electrical pulse signal (frequency): The rotor is fitted with magnets and a Hall effect sensor detects the rotation of the rotor. A flow-proportional frequency signal (square-wave signal) is made available. The construction of the guiding blade and rotor enables to realize the very low start-up flow values.
