312.20 Mechanical Test Gauge

312.20 Mechanical Test Gauge

2858

The WIKA 312.20 mechanical test gauge has been specifically designed for the measurement of pressures with high accuracy. With its accuracy class of 0.6, the Bourdon tube pressure gauge is suitable for testing industrial type pressure gauges or for precision measurement in laboratories. For the respective measuring requirement, a scale range between 0 … 0.6 and 0 … 600 bar can be selected. The WIKA 312.20 mechanical test gauge is constructed with a case from stainless steel and wetted parts from copper alloy. The instrument meets the requirements of the international industry standard EN 837-1 for Bourdon tube pressure gauges. The optimal readability of the instrument, with a nominal size of 160 mm, is achieved via a knife-edge pointer and a dial with fine divisions. Supported through the optional mirror band scale, the parallax error can be eliminated.

PGS21.1x0 Bourdon Tube Pressure Gauge

Wherever the process pressure has to be indicated locally and, at the same time, circuits need to be switched, the WIKA PGS21.100 and PGS21.160 switchGAUGE finds its use. Switch contacts (electrical alarm contacts) make or break an electric control circuit dependent upon the position of the instrument pointer. The switch contacts are adjustable over the full extent of the scale range (see DIN 16085), and are mounted predominantly below the dial, though also partly on top of the dial. The instrument pointer (actual value pointer) moves freely across the entire scale range, independent of the setting. The set pointer can be adjusted using a removable adjustment key in the window. Switch contacts consisting of several contacts can also be set to a single set point. Contact actuation is made when the actual value pointer travels beyond or below the desired set point. The pressure gauge is manufactured in accordance with DIN 16085 and fulfils all requirements of the relevant standards (EN 837-1) and regulations for the on-site display of the working pressure of pressure vessels. As switch contacts, magnetic snap-action contacts, reed switches, inductive contacts and electronic contacts are available. Inductive contacts can be used in hazardous areas. For triggering programmable logic controllers (PLC), electronic contacts and reed switches can be used.

VKS Flow Switch

VKS Flow Switch

The SIKA VKS flow switches are used for monitoring volume flows. Depending on conditions, the SIKA VKS flow switch is available for various nominal widths and set-point ranges. The SIKA VKS flow switch contains a paddle system to whose end a permanent magnet is attached. Above this magnet is a reed contact, located outside the flow of fluid. A second magnet creates the force necessary to reset the switch back to the no-flow position. When the flow being monitored pushes against the paddle system, the paddle swings away. This changes the position of the magnet in relation to the reed contact and thus activates the connection. As soon as the flow is interrupted, the paddle moves back to its starting position, thus activating the reed contact once again. The force necessary to push the magnet back is provided by the two magnets repelling each other. Using magnetic force instead of the usual leaf spring means that the switch is considerably more stable in the long term and much less sensitive to pressure peaks.
