VH500 Paddle Flow Switch

VH500 Paddle Flow Switch

1035

The SIKA VH500 paddle flow switch is modelled for applications such as cooling water monitoring, leak monitoring, and lubrication control. The SIKA VH 500 is placed with its paddle in flowing medium, which triggers the paddle. The resulting dynamic pressure causes the paddle to travel, which causes the actuation of integrated micro switches. SIKA flow switches monitor the flow of low-viscosity media in pipes. They offer a reliable solution for ensuring the minimum flow rate and thereby protecting high-quality systems and installations from damages. These flow switches work based on the well- established mechanical operating principles. Thanks to the different paddle lengths, the switch points of the paddle flow switches can be configured for a wide switching range.

422.12 / 423.12 Diaphragm Pressure Gauge

422.12 / 423.12 Diaphragm Pressure Gauge

1516

The application areas for the WIKA 422.12 / 423.12 gauges with diaphragm pressure elements are gaseous and liquid aggressive media. Instruments with open connecting flanges are even suitable for highly viscous and contaminated media, also in aggressive ambience. Typical scale ranges are from 0 … 16 mbar to 0 … 40 bar. Dependant upon the pressure range and the instrument model, overpressure safety of 3 x or 5 x full-scale value is possible as standard. For unique designs, an overpressure safety of 10, 40, 100 or 400 bar is possible, with the measuring accuracy maintained. Liquid filling the case ensures a precise instrument display, even with high dynamic pressure loads and vibrations. Special wetted parts materials are available as options. The WIKA diaphragm pressure gauges are preferably used for low-pressure ranges. Through the large working surface of the circular, corrugated diaphragm element, small pressure ranges can be measured reliably. The WIKA diaphragm pressure gauges are manufactured in accordance with EN 837-3. The robust design is particularly suitable for applications in machine building, plant construction and in the water and wastewater industry. The upper measuring flange with case and the lower measuring flange are made from one cast part, respectively. The WIKA instrument is used for the measurement of gaseous and liquid media that will not attack cast steel. For the measurement of highly viscous, crystallising or contaminated media, the use of an open connecting flange is recommended. The open connecting flange has the advantage over a threaded connection that the pressure port cannot become blocked. With an additional flushing connection on the open connecting flange, the pressure chamber can be easily cleaned. Measuring systems with diaphragm elements, on the grounds of their design, offer good protection from overload, since the diaphragm can support itself against the upper flange. As standard, the diaphragm pressure gauges already feature an overload safety of 3 times the full scale value. Optionally, higher overload safeties can be realised.

432.50 / 433.50 Diaphragm Pressure Gauge

3283

Diaphragm pressure gauges are preferably used for low-pressure ranges. Through the large working surface of the circular, corrugated diaphragm element, small pressure ranges can be measured reliably. The WIKA 432.50 diaphragm pressure gauge is manufactured in accordance with EN 837-3. The high-quality design is particularly suitable for applications in the chemical and petrochemical industry, oil and gas industry and power engineering. The case and wetted parts from stainless steel fulfil high requirements for resistance against aggressive media. For especially high resistance requirements, the pressure chamber of this diaphragm pressure gauge can, as an option, be designed with a wide variety of unique materials such as PTFE, tantalum or Hastelloy. Measuring systems with diaphragm elements, on the grounds of their design, offer excellent protection from overpressure, since the diaphragm can support itself against the upper flange. As standard, the model 432.50 diaphragm pressure gauge already features an overload safety of 5 times the full-scale value. Optionally, higher overload safeties can be realised.

APGT43.100 / 43.160 Pressure Gauge

APGT43.100 / 43.160 Pressure Gauge

3364

The WIKA APGT43 intelliGAUGE® (patent, property right: e.g. DE 202007019025) can be used wherever pressure measurement has to be independent of fluctuations in the atmospheric pressure. The instrument serves for the on-site display with a simultaneous signal transmission to central control or remote centre. The WIKA APGT43 is based upon a WIKA 532.54 high-quality, stainless steel pressure gauge, manufactured in accordance with DIN 16002. The intelliGAUGE® model APGT43 fulfils all safety-related requirements of the relevant standards and regulations for the on-site display of the working pressure of pressure vessels. The robust diaphragm measuring system produces a pointer rotation proportional to the pressure. An electronic angle encoder, proven in safety-critical automotive applications, determines the position of the pointer shaft “ it is a non-contact sensor and therefore completely free from wear and friction. From this, the electrical output signal proportional to the pressure, e.g. 4 … 20 mA, is produced. The measuring span (electrical output signal) is adjusted automatically along with the mechanical display, i.e. the scale over the full display range corresponds to 4 … 20 mA. The electrical zero point can also be set manually. The electronic WIKA sensor, integrated into the high-quality absolute pressure gauge, combines the advantages of electrical signal transmission with a local mechanical display that remains readable during a power failure. An additional measuring point for mechanical pressure display can thus be saved.
