The WIKA PSM-550 pressure switch is used in industrial control, monitoring and alarm applications. The PSM-550's switch point can be specified by the customer on-site. The instrument can switch electrical loads of up to AC 230 V, 10 A. The WIKA PSM-550 pressure switch offers many application possibilities with non-corrosive media like oil, water and air.

The mechanical WIKA PSM-700 pressure switch is designed for control and monitoring applications. The measuring element is a fully welded bellow made of stainless steel 316L. This corrosion-resistant pressure switch is suitable for a broad range of media used in the process industry. The case consists of a high-grade aluminium alloy with which the pressure switch can withstand the harsh operating conditions of the process industry. The WIKA PSM-700 pressure switch is equipped with UL listed micro switches to ensure high endurance with the durable operation and long service life. The WIKA PSM-700 pressure switch has a high switch point repeatability of 0.5 %, which enables reliable switching. Adjustable switch differential to a wide range of up to 60 % of the setting range to realise flexible on/off controls This wide setting range is often needed for the on/off control mode of cyclic applications. The switch point can be specified on site. With the tamper-proofing, which is available as an option, unauthorised adjustment of the switch point can be prevented.

As a result of the special sealing concept, operation in almost all industries and applications is possible without difficulties. There are seven different case variants available, and thus, it is possible to select a variant suited to every operating environment. The case itself can be rotated through 330° and is available in plastic, aluminium and stainless steel. An electropolished stainless steel case (316L) is available to meet the high demands of the food and pharmaceutical industries. Easy configuration and operation Service and configuration at the instrument are carried out using the optional display and operating module, which can be fitted in four positions. The operating menu has a simple and self-explanatory structure and has thirteen selectable languages as standard. Alternatively, the operating parameters can be set using the PACTware„¢ free and non-proprietary configuration software. An instrument-specific DTM enables easy integration into corresponding process control systems.
