SITRANS TF Temperature Transmitter

The SIEMENS SITRANS TF temperature transmitter is used where other transmitters can't cope. One main point is its rating of IP67. The SITRANS TF transmitter is made of rugged die-cast aluminium or long-lasting stainless steel. It transforms resistance thermometers, thermocouples, Ohm and mV signals into a load independent DC current corresponding to sensor characteristic or a digital signal according to Fieldbus standard Profibus PA or Foundation Fieldbus. The remote mounted sensor prevents the transmitter from heating up at high temperature; there are no vibrations and oscillations due to long neck tubes and protective pipes with SITRANS TF. For tags with difficult access to you can mount your SITRANS TF remotely at easily accessible places and display the measured value on the freely programmable digital display (with version 4 to 20 mA). You can even use the SITRANS TF in a version without a transmitter as a comfortable field display unit for all 4 to 20 mA signals. All SITRANS TF are available in an intrinsically safe or explosion-proof version.

The single continuous tube design without internal welds, reductions or flow splitters offers optimal hygiene, safety and CIP cleanability for food and beverage and pharmaceutical applications. The SITRANS F C MASS 2100 DI 1.5 is today the preferred meter for research and development and mini-plant applications for liquid or gas measurement, where measuring minimal quantities (e.g. drops per hour) is important.
