MBT 153 Temperature Sensor

The Danfoss MBT 153 is a universal cable temperature sensor used to control cooling water and ventilation systems within general industry applications. The MBT 153 temperature sensor is based on a standardized Pt 100 or Pt 1000 element, which gives a reliable and accurate measurement. On request, Danfoss can also deliver the MBT 153 sensor with NTC / PTC elements. The sensor is based on a stainless steel housing with a cable, making the sensor extremely flexible. The MBT 153 can be combined with a sensor pocket, type MBT 120, to protect the silicone cable from the media. The sensor combined with the sensor pocket is named MBT 5253. The MBT 153 has a PVC or silicone cable as standard, but it can be delivered with teflon cable on request.

MBT 5250/5252/5260 Temperature Sensor

The Danfoss MBT 5250, MBT 5252 and MBT 5260 heavy-duty temperature sensors for controlling cooling water, lubrication oil, hydraulic oil and refrigeration plants within general industry and marine applications. These temperature sensors are based on a standardised Pt 100 or Pt 1000 element, which gives a reliable and accurate measurement. All three sensor types can be delivered with NTC / PTC elements on request. In the low-temperature version (-50…200 °C) the measuring insert is based on a silicone cable, which makes the sensor very resistant to vibrations. The MBT 5250 with changeable measuring insert and MBT 5260 with fixed measuring insert are equipped with EN 175301-803-A, Pg 9 as standard. The MBT 5252 is equipped with a B-head as standard, but can also be delivered with B-mini Head on request. If needed, a transmitter (MBT 9110) can be ordered as an integrated part of the MBT 5252 sensor.

MBT 5310 Temperature Sensor

The Danfoss MBT 5310 temperature sensor is designed for measuring the temperature in bearings where there is a risk of overheating. To get a short reaction time, the measuring element is placed to secure a reaction time of down to t0.5 = 6 sec. in water. The MBT 5310 is fitted with an adjustable spring-loaded protection tube which ensures metallic contact between bearing and sensor at all times.

With the MBT 5560 temperature sensor, Danfoss has combined the technology of its standard temperature sensors and the electrical connections from their MBS pressure transmitters with newly developed electronics which has resulted in a compact temperature sensor with a built-in transmitter. The Danfoss MBT 5560 is designed for use in harsh industrial environments where reliable, robust and accurate equipment is required. Available with a wide selection of process and electrical connections. Can be delivered with a 33 mm extension length which makes it possible to measure temperatures up to 200 °C without damaging the built-in electronics.
