The SIEMENS SITRANS FUS380 is a battery or mains supply powered 2-track flowmeter designed for numerous standard applications. It can be used in all utility applications for water flow monitoring. The SITRANS FUS380 has a display that indicates various measurement values and diagnostics. Also, the display is fitted with an IrDA optical interface for communication with SIMATIC PDM, which can be used for data transfer and programming. Optional add-on RS 232 and RS 485 modules include MODBUS RTU protocol. The SITRANS FUS380 flowmeter consists of a sensor and transmitter. The WIKA RLS-3000 float switch with temperature output combines the measurement of the level and temperature of liquids in a single measuring point. The RLS-3000 float switch is suitable for a multitude of media, for example, oil, water, diesel and refrigerants, due to the stainless steel used. A permanent magnet built into the float triggers, with its magnetic field, the potential-free reed contacts built into the guide tube. The triggering of the reed contacts by the permanent magnet is contact-free and thus free from wear. The switching functions of normally open, normally closed or change-over can be realised for the defined liquid level. The additional temperature output enables the medium temperature to be monitored by means of a preconfigured bimetal temperature switch or a Pt100/Pt1000 resistance signal.
