VTY 20 Turbine Flow Sensor
2808
The SIKA VTY 20 turbine flow sensor gives you precise and robust products to measure flow rates or total flows, for water and water mixtures. Turbine flow sensors of the series VTY stainless steel were specially developed for the use in industrial applications. The sensors are particularly suitable for use in, e.g. dosing systems, heaters, coolers or temperature control units. The liquid flowing into the turbine flow sensor is split into individual jets by the flow straightener. These jets hit the rotor evenly, setting the rotor in motion. The rotation speed of the rotor is then converted to an electrical pulse signal (frequency): The rotor is fitted with magnets, and a Hall effect sensor detects the rotation of the rotor. A flow-proportional frequency signal (square-wave signal) is made available. Given the uniform inflow to the bearing, the forces largely cancel themselves out and wear reduced to a minimum. The sturdy bearing materials – sapphire and hard metal – also guarantee an exceptionally long endurance.

The SIKA VTY 15 turbine flow sensor gives you precise and robust products to measure flow rates or total flows, for water and water mixtures. The VTY 15 turbine flow sensor is specially developed for installation in electrical heat interface units (HIU). The SIKA VTY 10 turbine flow sensor gives you precise and robust products to measure flow rates or total flows, for water and water mixtures. Turbine flow sensors of the series VTY 10 is also available in a plastic version. The sensors are particularly suitable for use in, e.g. dosing systems, heaters, coolers or temperature control units. The liquid flowing into the turbine flow sensor is split into individual jets by the flow straightener. These jets hit the rotor evenly, setting the rotor in motion. VH6 Metal Level Switch
7868
The SIKA VH6 level switch is a secure and reliable solution for monitoring fluid levels. The VH6 level switch is installed at the side using G¾ or G½ thread sizes. The time-tested float principle and a potential-free contact as the signalling transmitter guarantee a high level of operational safety. The rising level in the tank forces the float up. Via paddle system, the magnet changes its position relative to Reed contact and actuates it. The repulsion between the two homopolar magnets and supports the buoyancy (Version VK… different). As soon as the level sinks again, the float follows also, and the magnet actuates the Reed contact again. Works adjusted switching function contact makes with a rising level contact opens with a falling level Can be changed by the customer. The Reed contact (3) used as signalling transmitter consists of two ferromagnetic contact-making tongues positioned in a shielding gas-filled glass bulb. As a result, burned contacts are virtually eliminated. This construction enables durability up to 100 000 000 switching cycles.
