DPGT43.100 / 43.160 Pressure Gauge

DPGT43.100 / 43.160 Pressure Gauge

1507

At any point where a differential pressure has to be indicated locally, and, at the same time, a signal is wanted to be transmitted to a central controller or remote control room, the WIKA DPGT43.100 / 43.160 intelliGAUGE can be used. Through the combination of a high-quality mechanical measuring system and precise electronic signal processing, the process pressure can be read securely, even if the power supply is lost. An additional measuring point for mechanical pressure indication can thus be saved. The WIKA DPGT43.100/43.160 is based upon a model 732.51 high quality, stainless steel pressure gauge with a nominal size of 100 or 160. The pressure gauge is manufactured by EN 837-3. These differential pressure gauges are made of highly corrosion-resistant stainless steel and feature an all-metal media chamber sealing. Therefore no elastomer sealing elements are required so that a better long-term leak tightness is ensured. A high overpressure safety is achieved by the all-metal construction and the close-fitting design of the measuring element. The rugged design of the diaphragm measuring system produces a pointer rotation proportional to the pressure. An electronic angle encoder, proven in safety-critical automotive applications, determines the position of the pointer shaft – it is a non-contact sensor and therefore completely free from wear and friction. From this, the electrical output signal proportional to the pressure, e.g. 4 … 20 mA, is produced. The electronic WIKA transmitter, integrated into the high-quality mechanical differential pressure gauge, combines the advantages of electrical signal transmission with the advantages of a local mechanical display. The measuring span (electrical output signal) is set automatically along with the mechanical display, i.e. the scale over the full display range corresponds to 4 … 20 mA. The electrical zero point can also be set manually.

PG43SA-S Pressure Gauge

PG43SA-S Pressure Gauge

2753

The WIKA PG43SA pressure gauge is designed for the requirements of sanitary applications. The purely mechanical pressure transmission, using the diaphragm-element measuring principle, and the high overpressure safety ensure a safe pressure measurement. As a result of the dry measuring cell, the risk of contamination of the product by transmission fluid is eliminated. The flush welded diaphragm element in conjunction with the aseptic process connections (e.g. clamp, threaded, VARIVENT®, BioControl®) enables a dead-space free connection to the process. The pressure gauge finds applications, for example, in systems for ultrapure steam generation or as an independent pressure display, without the need for an external power supply, on portable tanks. The PG43SA-S in hygienic design can be used for CIP (cleaning in place) and SIP (sterilisation in place) and in wash-down areas. The measuring instrument can thus be cleaned reliably and time-efficiently. At an easily accessible point on the top of the case, the zero point can be easily corrected. Based on a third-party verification, WIKA's model PG43SA-S corresponds to the 3-A Sanitary Standard. A variety of 3.1 and 2.2 certificates are available for GMP-compliant documentation, such as a material certificate or the list of single measured values.

PG43SA-D Diaphragm Pressure Gauge

PG43SA-D Diaphragm Pressure Gauge

2811

The WIKA PG43SA-D pressure gauge has been designed specifically for the highest safety requirements in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Through its patented diaphragm monitoring, the risk of an undetected rupture of the diaphragm is eliminated since a red warning dot is immediately displayed on the dial. If this point on the dial remains white, then the pressure element is intact, and cost-intensive maintenance on the measuring point is not required. In the event of a diaphragm rupture, a second barrier in the pressure measuring instrument ensures the reliable separation of ambience and process. The diaphragm pressure gauge transmits the pressure, purely mechanically and without transmission fluid, from the process to the pressure element. Due to their thickness, the diaphragm elements are very robust and have high overpressure safety, ensuring a safe pressure measurement without any risk of contamination. The flush welded diaphragm element in conjunction with the aseptic process connections enables a dead-space free connection to the process. The independent pressure display, needing no external power, finds applications with the processing and transport of high-quality and critical media, for example on portable tanks.WIKA's PG43SA-D in hygienic design can be used for CIP (cleaning in place) and SIP (sterilisation in place) and in wash-down areas, or it can be completely sterilised in an autoclave. The measuring instrument can thus be cleaned reliably and time-efficiently. The model PG43SA-D conforms to the 3-A Sanitary Standard and is certified by EHEDG.

PGS25 Bourdon Tube Pressure Gauge

PGS25 Bourdon Tube Pressure Gauge

3352

The robust WIKA PGS25 switchGAUGE is a combination of a Bourdon tube pressure gauge and a pressure switch. It offers the usual analogue display, which enables reading the process pressure on site, and also the possibility to switch up to two electrical signals. The switch contacts are factory-set in a range between 5 % and 95 % of the scale range. The measuring system with a bourdon tube per EN 837-1 produces a pointer rotation proportional to the pressure. An electronic angle encoder, proven in safety-critical automotive applications, determines the position of the pointer shaft – it is a non-contact sensor and therefore completely free from wear and friction. That provides a pressure-proportional signal for further processing. Depending on the switch point setting, the circuit is opened or closed when the alarm value is reached. Thus the switchGAUGE can be used actively for process monitoring, for example, to control the level of a gas cylinder or a hydraulic circuit. The switchGAUGE is available as standard in scale ranges from 0 … 1.6 bar to 0 … 400 bar with an accuracy class of 2.5 and a 1 m round cable for the electrical connection. The stainless steel case fulfils the requirements of IP65 ingress protection. The resistance to shock and vibration can be increased by the silicone oil case filling. Thus the instrument is perfectly suited for use in harsh industrial environments. Through various options (e.g. higher accuracy class, another cable length) the pressure measuring instrument can be matched exactly to the customer-specific requirements of each application.
