DPGS40 Pressure Gauge

DPGS40 Pressure Gauge

1513

The WIKA DPGS40 differential pressure gauges of the DELTA-line product family are primarily used for the monitoring and control of low differential pressures where there are high requirements regarding one-sided overpressure and static pressure. Typical markets for these products are the shipbuilding industry, process heating technology, the heating, ventilation and air-conditioning industries, the water/wastewater industry, and machine building and plant construction. For these, the primary function of the measuring instruments is the monitoring of filters, compressors and pumps. Wherever a differential pressure must be displayed locally and, at the same time, electrical circuits need to be switched safely dependent on defined differential pressure, the DELTA-comb finds its use. As the pressure passes above or below a defined set point, the switching operation is triggered. The switch point is accessible from the front and can be adjusted in the range of 10 … 100 % of the full-scale value. An assistant scale enables an accurate setting of the switch point and indicates the current set point. Often in these applications, alongside the display of the differential pressure, the current working pressure is also relevant. For this reason, a working pressure indication is integrated within the DELTA-comb differential pressure switch as standard. The two local, easily readable, mechanical displays need no power supply and enable the simultaneous reading of the working and the differential pressure. Furthermore, this saves on an additional measuring and sealing point, reducing additional expense for piping and mounting. The robust aluminium case and shatterproof window enable an extended service life of the product, even under harsh ambient conditions. As a result of the small measuring range of 0 ¦ 250 mbar, the instrument can also be used for applications with low differential pressures.

PG23CP Bourdon Tube Pressure Gauge

PG23CP Bourdon Tube Pressure Gauge

2560

The high-quality WIKA PG23CP pressure gauge has been designed specifically for the requirements within the process industry. This safety pressure gauge is mainly used for applications in the chemical and petrochemical industry, the oil and gas industry, power engineering and also in water/wastewater technology. Typical measuring points are on control units and control panels such as hydraulic power units (HPUs). For secure mounting of the instrument, a high-quality front bezel is used. The mounting situations mainly require an IP 66 ingress protection. For this reason, the sealing of the model PG23CP to the panel is made using a fully welded mounting ring and a matched flat gasket. Pressure gauges for the process industry are manufactured completely from stainless steel for increased corrosion resistance. This enables use in the measurement of aggressive gaseous or liquid media, also in aggressive ambience. In the EN 837-1 standard for pressure gauges, safety versions are defined. For most applications, a safety version is not required. WIKA already manufactures the model PG23CP in the œS1 safety version. This design includes an additional blow-out opening, which vents any impermissible overpressure in the case (e.g. from a burst Bourdon tube) through the back of the case. For harsh operating conditions (e.g. vibration), all instruments are also available with an optional liquid filling.

E-10 / E-11 Pressure Transmitter

E-10 / E-11 Pressure Transmitter

3067

The WIKA E-10 and E-11 flameproof pressure transmitters have been designed specifically for the high demands of industrial oil and gas applications. These pressure transmitters can be delivered with various analogue signals from 4 … 20 mA to a low-power version with DC 1 … 5 V. They feature exceptionally high resistance to vibration, pressure spikes and moisture ingress. Furthermore, these pressure transmitters fulfil IP 67 (NEMA 4x) ingress protection. On each instrument, comprehensive quality control and calibration is performed, so that an accuracy of 0.5 % can be ensured. Temperature compensation guarantees accuracy and long-term stability, even with strong fluctuations in the ambient temperature. The WIKA E-10 and E-11 are suitable for sour gas applications and feature particularly high resistance against sulphide stress cracking when in contact with sulphurous gases. The pressure transmitters are approved as œexplosion-proof for class I, II, III, div. 1 hazardous areas to FM and CSA as well as œflameproof for II 2 G Ex d II C to ATEX.

232.30 / 233.30 Bourdon Tube Pressure Gauge

232.30 / 233.30 Bourdon Tube Pressure Gauge

3292

The high-quality WIKA 232.30 / 233.30 bourdon tube pressure gauges have been designed especially for increased safety requirements within the process industry. The use of high-quality stainless steel materials and the robust design are geared to applications in the chemical and process engineering industries. Thus the instrument is suitable for liquid and gaseous media, also in aggressive environments. For example, the 232.30 / 233.30 bourdon tube pressure gauges are suitable for chemical/petrochemical, power stations, mining, on- and offshore, environmental technology, machine building and plant construction. Scale ranges of 0 … 0.6 to 0 … 1,600 bar ensure the measuring ranges required for a wide variety of applications. WIKA manufactures and qualifies the pressure gauge in accordance with the requirements of the EN 837-1 European standard in the S3 safety version. The safety version is made up of a non-splintering window, a solid baffle wall between measuring system and dial and a blow-out back. In the event of a failure, the operator is protected at the front side, as media or components can only be ejected via the back of the case. For harsh operating conditions (e.g. vibrations), all instruments are also available with an optional liquid filling.

Typical markets for these products are the shipbuilding industry, process heating technology, the heating, ventilation and air-conditioning industries, the water/wastewater industry, and machine building and plant construction. For these, the main function of the measuring instruments is the monitoring of filters, compressors and pumps. Wherever a signal transmission is needed and, at the same time, a differential pressure must be displayed locally, and the DELTA-trans differential pressure sensor finds its use. An electronic angle encoder, proven in safety-critical automotive applications, determines the position of the pointer shaft – it is a non-contact sensor and therefore completely free from wear and friction. From this, the electrical output signal proportional to the pressure, e.g. 4 … 20 mA, is produced, which then acts to transmit the signal to the control room. In addition, the electrical zero point can be set manually. Often in these applications, alongside the display of the differential pressure, the current working pressure is also relevant. For this reason, a working pressure indication is integrated within the DELTA-trans differential pressure sensor as standard.
