FLM-CA Magnetostrictive Level Transmitter
1658
The WIKA FLM-CA magnetostrictive level transmitter is used for the high-accuracy, continuous level detection of liquids and is based on determining the position of a magnetic float according to the magnetostrictive measurement principle. The FLM-CA emits a 4 ¦ 20 mA output signal, which is configured via buttons within the probe head. Optionally, the WIKA FLM-CA is also available with HART ® protocol as a digital output signal. Probe lengths of 100 mm to 3 m and also various temperature and pressure ranges are possible. In comparison to the FLM-S, the FLM-CA is particularly notable for its very compact and space-saving design. In addition, it can be used in applications with vibrations up to 4 g.

SITRANS P320/420
8783
The SIEMENS SITRANS P320/420 is a pressure transmitter wich features remote safety handling. The instruments™ remote safety handling via SIMATIC PDM saves time during SIL commissioning: rather than manually attending to each individual device across a facility, operators can program transmitters from the control room. This reduces the commissioning time in applications requiring functional safety. Furthermore, both the SITRANS P320 and SITRANS P420 pressure transmitters have an increased proof test interval over other devices on the market. With testing periods of up to fifteen years rather than every two, they significantly lower maintenance costs.
