Underwater Thickness Gauge

Underwater Thickness Gauge

1162

The Cygnus Underwater is the original diver held subsea multiple echo ultrasonic thickness gauge. It was designed for use by divers undertaking subsea maintenance and surveys 3 decades ago¦ and today it is still the industry standard. The unit is depth rated to 300 meters (985 ft) and it provides an accurate metal thickness measurement through coatings up to 20 mm (0.787 in) thick using Deep Coat mode (upon request). The bright LED display ensures easy viewing even in poor visibility conditions. The Cygnus Underwater thickness gauge is supplied ready to use as a complete kit with 2 rechargeable batteries in a protective carry case. Features: RINA approved (Certificate No. 2009DGPO787) Auto Probe Recognition (APR) Deep-Coat mode for measuring through coatings up to 20 mm (0.787 in) thick (upon request) Easy calibration using convenient buttons Rugged, durable, shock-proof construction Stable calibration “ linear accuracy “ no zero adjustment Large bright LED display for poor visibility Pressure rated to 300 m (985 ft) depth Heavy-duty sealed unit with double ˜O™ ring protection Self-verification of measurements to ensure accuracy Echo strength indicator to aid measurement All probes are protected by a membrane to prevent damage Various probe options Two rechargeable battery packs with charger Fixed head probe option for single-handed use

Mini ROV Mountable

Mini ROV Mountable

1167

The Cygnus Mini ROV Mountable thickness gauge has been specially designed to be mounted onto small observation ROVs with or without a manipulator facility. Built-in conjunction with VideoRay, this mountable subsea thickness gauge will allow the operator to carry out an ultrasonic thickness measurement in areas that have previously been unfeasible using larger ROVs or divers. The multiple echo thickness gauge measures metal thickness and corrosion without removing protective coatings. Dedicated software displays the time, date and thickness readings on the surface which can all be stored or logged. Alternatively, an optional Topside Repeater (TSR) is available which has the facility to display the thickness measurements remotely and overlay them on to a video signal. This allows the measurements to be superimposed on the ROV camera™s monitor screen. The unit is pressure tested to 1,640 ft (500 m). Features: Designed specifically to mount onto small observation ROV™s. Supplied with *CygLink software to display and log thickness measurements from the ROV on a computer at the surface which can be saved to a file and printed out. CygLink has two data logging facilities: Quick Log for simple recording of thickness measurements and structured mode with four templates available “ Single Point, Multi Point, Grid Point and KeyPoint. Easy calibration at the surface via CygLink software or Top Side Repeater (TSR) unit. Optional dedicated probe holder to allow measurements on curved or flat surfaces. Only one twisted pair is required to transfer the data to the surface.

AX8 Thermal Monitoring System

AX8 Thermal Monitoring System

7548

The FLIR AX8 thermal monitoring camera watches critical equipment on your vessel, including engines, exhaust manifolds, and shaft bearings, to spot problems before you're stranded on the water. The FLIR AX8 integrates with Raymarine multifunction displays (MFDs) and sends audible and visual alerts when the temperature of machine parts rise above preset thresholds. Featuring FLIR's MSX® imaging, which blends imagery from visible and thermal cameras, the FLIR AX8's detailed imagery is easier to understand.

CPC2000 Portable Low-Pressure Controller

CPC2000 Portable Low-Pressure Controller

8212

The WIKA CPC2000 portable low pressure controller is used in the areas of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, filtration, clean room, and medical technology as a calibrator or as highly-accurate measurement equipment and/or precise pressure transducer. The WIKA CPC2000 low-pressure controller is a mains or battery-operated pressure controller with internal, automatic pressure generation and pressure reference. The pressure generation is achieved using an integrated, electric pump, which makes a positive and/or negative pressure available on both the tube connections. As soon as the instrument is switched on, a zero-point adjustment is automatically carried out, so that a zero-point drift is eliminated. The subsequent preparation of a calibration requires only a few settings. First, using the MENU button, select one of the stored pressure units and the variable pressure change step in the range of 0 … 50 %. Then, once the full scale has been entered in Control Mode, the pressure can be easily increased or decreased by the defined level using the navigation buttons. To check whether the calibration assembly or the test item has a leak, the LEAK button can be used. With this, the pressure is locked into the test assembly and any pressure drop there might be, as well as the the time this takes, is measured and displayed. The CPC2000 has an RS-232 and USB interface, enabling communication and data exchange with a PC. WIKA-Cal calibration software is available for the CPC2000. WIKA-Cal also offers, over and above PC-supported calibration, the management of the calibration and instrument data in an SQL database. The accuracy of the instrument is certified by a factory calibration certificate.
