Process Monoflanges

AS-Schneider Process Monoflanges (A frequently used term is also Slimline Monoflange) are designed to replace the traditional primary isolation valve and are close-coupled to the process piping flange, for connecting process to instruments. The primary isolation valve needs to be of process design, therefore it's a valve with OSandY Bolted Bonnet. The secondary isolation valve and the bleed valve are provided with screwed bonnets. The combining of piping and instrument valves into a single unit has benefitted various markets. The Standard Pressure Instrument Connection is 1/2 NPT female, the Standard Process Connections are provided with Flange Connections acc. to ASME B 16.5. AS-Schneider is providing axial, radial or dual outlet types for either Horizontal or Vertical Flange Mounting. The Monoflanges are available as Block, Block and Bleed or Double Block and Bleed designs.

AS-Schneider Instrument Monoflanges are close-coupled to a pre-installed primary isolation valve to provide a compact instrument Double Block and Bleed Valve or are used when primary isolation valves with an OS and Y Bolted Bonnet are not required. The needle valves of the Instrument Monoflanges are provided with a screwed bonnet. VariAS-Blocks

AS-Schneider VariAS-Blocks are designed to replace conventional, multiple-valve installations and are close-coupled to the process piping flange, for connecting process to instruments. The primary isolation valve needs to be of process design. Primary and Secondary Isolation Valve are, as standard, ball type valves with floating ball, the bleed valve can be provided as needle type valve with a screwed bonnet as well as ball type valve with a 3-way T-Port ball. The Standard Pressure Instrument Connection is 1/2 NPT female, the Standard Process Connections are provided with Flange Connections acc. to ASME B 16.5. AS-Schneider VariAS-Blocks is provided with an axial outlet and normally used for Vertical Installations (Vertical Tap). The VariAS-Blocks are available as Single Block and Bleed or Double Block and Bleed designs. Options like Sampling and Injection Applications are also available. The VariAS-Blocks are available with Bore Size 10, 14 and 20 mm.

The standard instrument connection is: Flange connection for direct mounting to Pressure Transmitters in accordance with DIN EN 61518 / IEC 61518. The standard vent connection is 1/4 NPT female. Pipe plugs are not installed as standard. The 5 Valve Manifolds are available with 2 standard flow schematics (pattern): Standard (Double Isolate/Single Equalize/Double Vent and the 2nd one but with (Double Isolate/Single Equalize/Double Upstream Vent).
