IR 200 Infrared Forehead Thermometer
1363
The Extech IR200 Infrared Forehead Thermometer is ideal for quickly detecting elevated body temperature. It can easily measure body temperate and therefore reduce the potential spread of diseases. The Extech non-contact IR-200 forehead thermometer is intended for scanning individuals or monitoring an individual for potentially elevated temperatures. It is not a substitute for a clinical thermometer. Always use a clinical thermometer when high accuracy body temperature measurements are required. IR Thermometers that detect elevated body temperature will vary with various factors and should not be relied upon as the sole determinant of a person™s body temperature. Use of additional medical devices and/or healthcare professionals will be needed to accurately diagnose the condition of persons in any health screening assessment to identify elevated body temperature for any person. Applications Measure body (forehead) temperature Monitor individuals for temperature change Non-contact technique reduces potential spread of diseases from using contact devices Features Measures body temperature from 89.6°F to 108.5°F (32.0°C to 42.5°C) without contact Accurate to 0.5°F (0.3°C) with 0.1°F/°C resolution Adjustable alarm alerts user visually and audibly when temperature exceeds programmed limit Optimum measurement distance of 1.9″ to 5.9″ (5 to 15cm) Measures surface temperature from 32°F to 140°F (0.0°C to 60.0°C) Fast response (0.5 seconds) Simply press the trigger and read temperature on the large backlit LCD display Memory stores up to 32 readings for easy recall Complete with 2 AA batteries and pouch

TIF50 / TIF52 Temperature Transmitter
1599
The WIKA TIF50 and WIKA TIF52 series field temperature transmitters, consisting of a rugged field housing, a WIKA T32 temperature transmitter and a DIH display, have been designed for general use in process engineering. They offer high accuracy, galvanic isolation and excellent protection against electromagnetic influences (EMI). Via HART® protocol, the TIFxx is configurable (interoperable) with a variety of open configuration tools. In addition to the different sensor types, e.g. sensors in accordance with DIN EN 60751, JIS C1606, DIN 43760, IEC 60584 or DIN 43710, customer-specific sensor characteristics can also be defined, through the input of value pairs (user-defined linearisation). Through the configuration of a sensor with redundancy (dual sensor), on a sensor failure, it will automatically change over to the working sensor. Furthermore, there is the possibility to activate Sensor Drift Detection. With this, an error signal occurs when the magnitude of the temperature difference between Sensor 1 and Sensor 2 exceeds a user-selectable value. The field temperature transmitter also has additional sophisticated supervisory functionality such as monitoring of the sensor wire resistance and sensor break detection in accordance with NAMUR NE89 as well as monitoring of the measuring range. Moreover, this transmitter has full cyclic self-monitoring functionality. Via the display, it is possible to show range alarms as well as MIN and MAX values. The field temperature transmitter is available in various field-housing variants. Plastic, stainless steel and aluminium can be specified. It can be mounted directly on a wall. A pipe mounting kit is also available for fitting to tubes with a diameter of 1… 2″. The field temperature transmitters are delivered with an underlying configuration or configured according to customer specifications.

TG54 Bimetal Thermometer
1614
The WIKA TG54 bimetal thermometer has been developed and is manufactured following the EN 13190 standard. The thermometer meets the high requirements of the process industries. Especially in the chemical and petrochemical, oil and gas, power engineering and shipbuilding industries, the temperature measuring instrument manufactured from stainless steel are used successfully. The robust, hermetically sealed case with IP65 ingress protection enables use with harsh external conditions and high vibration. With a count of four different nominal sizes, an optimal matching to the available space and mounting conditions is possible. At an easily accessible point on the back of the case, the zero point can be easily corrected. The WIKA TG54 satisfies the high requirements for resistance against aggressive media. As an option, the case, the stem and the process connection can be made from 316L.

TGS55 Thermometer with switch contacts
1618
Wherever the process temperature has to be indicated locally, and, at the same time, circuits are to be made or broken, the WIKA TGS55 bimetal thermometer with switch contact can be used. Switch contacts (electrical alarm contacts) make or break an electric control circuit dependent upon the position of the instrument pointer. The switch contacts are adjustable over the full extent of the scale range. The instrument pointer (actual value pointer) moves freely across the entire scale range, independent of the setting. The set pointer can be adjusted using a detachable adjustment key (mounted to the junction box) in the window. Switch contacts consisting of several contacts can also be set to a single set point. Contact actuation is made when the actual value pointer travels beyond or below the desired set value. As switch contacts sliding contacts, inductive contacts – for requirements to ATEX – or electronic contacts for triggering a PLC are available.

TW10 Thermowell
1650
Each thermowell is an essential component of any temperature measurement point. The WIKA TW10 thermowell is used to separate the process from the surrounding area, thus protecting the environment and operating personnel and keeps aggressive media, high pressures and flow rates from the temperature sensor itself and thereby enables the thermometer to be exchanged during operation. Based on the almost limitless application possibilities, there are a large number of variants, such as thermowell designs or materials. The type of process connection and the primary method of manufacture are critical design differentiation criteria. A necessary differentiation can be made between threaded and weld-in thermowells, and those with flange connections. Furthermore, one can differentiate between fabricated and solid-machined thermowells. Fabricated thermowells are constructed from a tube, that is closed at the tip by a welded solid tip. Solid-machined thermowells are manufactured from barstock. The WIKA TW10 series of solid-machined thermowells with flange connection are suitable for use with numerous electrical and mechanical thermometers from WIKA. Due to the heavy-duty design, these international design thermowells are the first choice for use the chemical and petrochemical industries and in plant construction. This thermowell can also be ordered with the innovative ScrutonWell® design. The added helical shape on the outside of the insert increases the thermowell's resistance to the Kármán vortex street and the stress this causes on the instrument by breaking the vortex up into smaller vortices. By incorporating the helix onto the outside of the thermowell, the Scrutonwell® design reduces oscillation by more than 90%!
