The WIKA FLM-CA magnetostrictive level transmitter is used for the high-accuracy, continuous level detection of liquids and is based on determining the position of a magnetic float according to the magnetostrictive measurement principle. The FLM-CA emits a 4 ¦ 20 mA output signal, which is configured via buttons within the probe head. Optionally, the WIKA FLM-CA is also available with HART ® protocol as a digital output signal. Probe lengths of 100 mm to 3 m and also various temperature and pressure ranges are possible. In comparison to the FLM-S, the FLM-CA is particularly notable for its very compact and space-saving design. In addition, it can be used in applications with vibrations up to 4 g.

FLR Reed Level Transmitter

The WIKA FLR transmitter with reed measuring chain are used for level measurement in liquid media. The FLR transmitter serries works on the float principle with magnetic transmission. The float's magnetic system in the guide tube actuates a resistance measuring chain that corresponds to a 3-wire potentiometer circuit. The measurement voltage generated by this is proportional to the fill level. The measurement voltage is very finely-stepped due to the contact separation of the measuring chain and is thus virtually continuous. FLM-H Magnetostrictive Sensor

The WIKA FLM-H magnetostrictive sensor has been specifically designed for the requirements of the food and beverage, pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. The sensor is particularly suitable for the special conditions of CIP/SIP cleaning processes, such as chemical stability towards cleaning liquids and high temperatures. The WIKA LF-1 submersible pressure transmitter has been developed especially for the level measurement of fuels and oils. Extensive test cycles guarantee a permanent resistance and long service life in all oils and fuels as well as in aggressive crude oils and biofuels. Thanks to newly developed special cables, components made of high-alloyed stainless steel and optional overvoltage protection against lightning, the submersible pressure sensor for measurement applications in oils and fuels is also perfectly suited for use in the outdoor area. Precise level and temperature measurement with HART® communication A measurement uncertainty of max. 0.5 %, a long-term drift of 0.1 % and slight temperature errors make the WIKA LF-1 a reliable measurement solution for the monitoring of storage tanks. The additional analogue temperature output facilitates the compensation of a temperature-induced density error especially at temperatures of up to -40 … +80 °C. The integrated HART® communication can be used for scaling the measuring range and for the parameterisation of a unit, error signal, and others. The WIKA LH-20 submersible pressure transmitter is designed for the most demanding of level measurement tasks. A slender design, highest accuracies, low temperature errors and an adjustable measuring range ensure the suitability of the LH-20 for all submerged level measurements. The WIKA LH-20 submersible pressure transmitter can adapt to countless applications and measuring media through a large number of features and options. Depending on the requirements, this level probe is available with, amongst other things, a titanium case, PUR/PE/FEP cable, 0.1 % accuracy, HART®, scaleability or parallel temperature output signal. For operation in hazardous environments, the LH-20 submersible pressure sensor is also available in an intrinsically safe version. For potable and fresh water applications, a potable water conformant product variant is possible in accordance with KTW and ACS. The WIKA LH-20 submersible pressure transmitter has been engineered for use in the harshest environments. Through a double, redundant sealing concept, it is permanently hermetically sealed.
