VMI 10 Magnetic Inductive Flow Sensor
7649
Due to the robust metal housing and stable metal process connections, the SIKA VMI 10 is ideal for use in the field of mechanical engineering and plant construction. Its design also makes it suitable for higher temperatures and process pressures, and the instrument is available in three different sizes. All sensors will be delivered with a works calibration certificate. The smart flow sensors of the SIKA VMI 10 induQ® series operate according to the principle of induction: The measuring pipe is in a magnetic field (B). If an electrically conductive medium, with the flow (Q) to be measured, flows through the measuring pipe and thereby at a right-angle to the magnetic field, a voltage (U) is induced in the medium. This voltage is proportional to the average flow velocity and is picked up by two electrodes. Regarding flow proportional output signals, two versions are available: Frequency output signal (standard) Analog and frequency output signal (option) The pulse rate can be configured at the factory. The induQ® sensors enable the flow measurement/volume flow measurement or dosing of electrically conductive liquids without any moving parts. They are the ideal flow sensors when accuracy and reliability are a must.

VTY 10 Turbine Flow Sensor
7793
The SIKA VTY 10 turbine flow sensor gives you precise and robust products to measure flow rates or total flows, for water and water mixtures. Turbine flow sensors of the series VTY 10 is also available in a plastic version. The sensors are particularly suitable for use in, e.g. dosing systems, heaters, coolers or temperature control units. The liquid flowing into the turbine flow sensor is split into individual jets by the flow straightener. These jets hit the rotor evenly, setting the rotor in motion. The rotation speed of the rotor is then converted to an electrical pulse signal (frequency): The rotor is fitted with magnets, and a Hall effect sensor detects the rotation of the rotor. A flow-proportional frequency signal (square-wave signal) is made available. Given the uniform inflow to the bearing, the forces largely cancel themselves out and wear reduced to a minimum. The sturdy bearing materials “ sapphire and hard metal “ also guarantee an exceptionally long endurance.

VTR1010...1300 Turbine Flow Sensor
7800
The SIKA VTR1010…1300 turbine flow sensor allows you to determine precisely, dependably and easily the flow rates of different liquids, such as water and other low viscosity liquids, under the most severe conditions. The SIKA VTR1010…1300 sensor is particularly robust and, due to the wide range of nominal diameters and five different pick-ups, can cope with even the most severe conditions. The characteristic variable is the K-factor (pulses per litre) which is specific to each measuring unit, is determined by calibration and specified on the nameplate. A five-point calibration report can be supplied on request. The VTR sensor consists of the measuring turbine and a pick-up mounted on the outside. The liquid flows into the measuring turbine and causes the rotor to move. Due to the characteristic internal diameter, the speed of rotation is directly proportional to the flow rate. The moving rotor blades are detected by the pick-up and this is converted into a pulsed signal proportional to the flow rate.
