PVX Pneumatic Spring Return Air Shut Off Valve

Product Description

The Chalwyn PVX pneumatic spring return butterfly valve uses a spring return rotary actuator. It is available in two basic versions:

1. Air pressure to open / spring return close on loss of air pressure (failsafe)
2. Air pressure to close / spring return open on loss of air pressure

Both versions are designed to work with direct pressure operation in either automatic or manual systems.

Features

• For use in automatic or manual shutdown systems
• Operating pressure range 43.5 to 116psig (3 to 8bar)
• Slim-fit 3, 5, and 8 (76mm, 127mm, and 203mm) valve body
• Basic flange mount with hose adaptors available (1½ to 8 | 38 to 203mm)
• Valve bodies and discs are PTFE coated hard-anodized aluminium
• The shaft and mechanisms are stainless steel
