Product Description

The Chalwyn SVX hazardous area, flameproof series of butterfly air intake shutoff valves are ATEX approved for Zone 1, Gas Group IIB, T4 (135°C) or Zone 21 hazardous area applications. The SVX flameproof energize to open valve is designed with a œfail-safe actuation. When power is applied to the solenoid, the valve opens and is held open as long as power is supplied. When power is cut off for any reason, such as the detection of an engine over speed condition or other unsafe engine operating conditions, the valve will close.
