At any point where a differential pressure has to be indicated locally, and, at the same time, a signal is wanted to be transmitted to a central controller or remote control room, the WIKA DPGT43HP.100 / 43HP.160 intelliGAUGE (patent applied for, among others European Patent No. EP 06113003) can be used. The electronic WIKA transmitter, integrated into the model 732.14 high-quality mechanical differential pressure gauge, combines the advantages of electrical signal transmission with the benefits of a local mechanical display. The model DPGT43 is based upon a model 732.14 high-quality, stainless steel pressure gauge with a nominal size of 100 or 160. The pressure measuring instrument is manufactured in accordance with EN 837-3. The use of high-quality stainless steel materials and the robust design are geared to applications in the chemical and process engineering industries. Thus the instrument is suitable for liquid and gaseous media, also in aggressive environments. A high overload safety is achieved by the all-metal construction and the close-fitting design of the pressure element. The robust diaphragm measuring system produces a pointer rotation proportional to the pressure. An electronic angle encoder, proven in safety-critical automotive applications, determines the position of the pointer shaft “ it is a non-contact sensor and therefore completely free from wear and friction. From this, the electrical output signal, proportional to the pressure, of 4 … 20 mA, is produced. In addition, the electrical zero point can be set manually. The electronic WIKA sensor, integrated into the high-quality mechanical differential pressure gauge, combines the advantages of electrical signal transmission with a local mechanical display that remains readable during a power failure. An additional measuring point with a mechanical pressure display can thus be saved.

The WIKA 611.10 / 631.10 capsule pressure gauges are based upon the proven capsule measuring system. The capsule measuring principle is particularly suitable for low pressures. On pressurisation, the expansion of the capsule element, proportional to the incident pressure, is transmitted to the movement and indicated. The case of the 611.10 / 631.10 capsule pressure gauges is made from black lacquered steel with a snap-fitted window. The material of the process connection is a copper alloy with WIKA 611.10 and stainless steel with model 631.10. The modular design enables a multitude of combinations of case materials, process connections, nominal sizes and scale ranges. Due to this high variance, the instrument is suitable for use in a wide range of applications within the industry. For mounting in control panels, the capsule pressure gauges can, depending on the process connection, be fitted with a surface mounting flange or with a triangular bezel and mounting bracket.
