AS-Schneider Male / Adjusting nut Gauge Cocks Gauge Cocks are basically designed, manufactured and tested according to DIN 16261, DIN 16262 and DIN 16263, however, the swivel nut type is not mentioned in those DIN standards. According to the above standards, the cocks are applicable for a max. allowable (Working) Pressure (PS) of 6 “ 16 bar (87 – 232 psi) and a max. allowable Temperature (TS) of 50°C (122°F) for liquids, gas or vapours. Originally the AS-Schneider Gauge Cocks were designed for a max. allowable (Working) Pressure (PS) of 25 bar (363 psi) for the G 1/2 models.
