The Clorius AVM234S linear actuator is used in combination with 2 or 3-way valves. For controllers with continuous output (0…10V or 4…20mA) or switching output (2-point or 3-point control). Automatic adaptation to the valve, precision control and high energy efficiency with minimal operating noise. Features: Stepping motor with Superior Universal Technology (SUT) electronic control unit and electronic, force-dependent cut-off. Simple assembly with valve; spindle is automatically connected after control voltage is applied (patented system). Automatic detection of applied control signal (constant or switched); indicated by two LEDs. Coding switches for selecting characteristic and running time. Type of characteristic (linear/quadratic/equal-percentage) can be set on the actuator. Automatic adaptation to the stroke of the valve (min. valve stroke 8 mm, max. valve stroke 49 mm). The measured stroke is saved and is not lost even in the event of a power failure. The direction of operation can be selected via screw terminals when making the electrical connection. Crank handle for external manual adjustment with motor cut-off and as a trigger for a re-initialisation. Power supply 230 V with a module or direct connection for 24 V~ / 24 V=; continuous activation also admissible with 230 V. Maintenance-free gear unit made of sintered steel; gearbox base-plate made of steel. Mounting column made of stainless steel; mounting bracket made of cast light alloy for fitting the valve. The Clorius ER 2000-P controller is used for constant pressure control. It is suitable for all heating and cooling control systems. The controller is primarily intended for marine installations and other industrial applications. Design The ER 2000-P controller is designed for panel mounting. For an easy start-up, it has optimization for the automatic determination of favourable control parameters. The optimization starts when changing the set point or when switching over from manual mode to automatic control. The optimization can be disregarded. For easy operation, it has three keys – two for scrolling or changing values and an enter key. Two digital displays show the process variable and the setpoint. 3 LEDs indicate actuator opens, actuator closes and alarm. The controller can be switched from auto mode to manual mode. In manual mode, the actuator can be opened, closed or stopped in a certain position. Three different alarm settings are possible: Alarm at a deviation from the setpoint SP Alarm at a fixed limit value Alarm at leaving a band around the setpoint SP It can operate either as a three-position or as a two-position controller or analogue controller (4-20 mA) and has an adjustable proportional band, integral action time and derivative action time. Function The pressure input comes via a 4-20 mA signal. The measured value of the controlled variable is compared with the setpoint value and adjusted via a PI or a PID control structure. The ER 2000-P permits direct reading of the actual temperature value (PV) and it is secured from failure in the measuring circuit, i.e. the controller can be set to give either a closing, an opening or remain in current position command in case of sensor short circuit or sensor break. The error message Err appears in the LED display PV.

The Clorius ER 3000e electric controller is used for constant temperature control. It is specially designed for large engine jacket cooling water systems where conventional single loop controllers cannot maintain a constant and precise temperature. The ER3000 controller operates with TWO sensor inputs. One Pt 100 sensor is placed at the outlet from the engine and one Pt 100 sensor with a built-in 4-20 mA transmitter is placed at the inlet to the engine. The measured values of the controlled variables are compared with the setpoint value and adjusted via a PI or a PID control structure. Design The ER 3000 controller is designed for panel mounting.
