ASCO Solenoid Valves
ASCO
Solenoid valves generally service air, inert gas, water and light oil (up to 300 SSU) at moderate temperatures. The solenoid is an electromagnetic part of a valve comprised of a coil, core tube, core and enclosure. WandO offers our customers the outstanding ASCO RedHat brand, with the world’s largest selection of two-, three- and four-way solenoid valves, designed to handle the most demanding fluid-control applications. If the system requires a valve for extremely high temperatures of hot water and steam or extremely cold temperatures for cryogenic systems to –320°F (-196°C) or liquid CO2 systems to –75°F (-59°C) the ASCO 2-way valve can handle these extremes. Two- and three-way valves can also be used in potable water and food service applications. Series 8210 2-Way Air/Inert Gas, Water, Lt. Oil – 3/8″–2 1/2″ Solenoid pilot operated valves available in normally closed and normally open constructions. Available either AC or DC operated with Brass or Stainless Steel bodies for a wide variety of applications. Diaphragm constructions from 3/8″–1 1/2″, piston constructions from 3/8″–2 1/2″. Our most economical, high flow valve available. Series 8320 3-Way Pilot Operated Diaphragm Valves – 3/8″– 1″ Solenoid pilot operated diaphragm valves available in normally closed and normally open constructions. Available either AC or DC operated with Brass or Stainless Steel bodies for a wide variety of high flow applications. Available with external for zero minimum pressure requirements. Series 8551 3-Way and 4-way NAMUR Mount Solenoids The 8551 series are pilot operated high flow valves available in anodized aluminum bodies 1/4" NPT. They are compact spool valves with threaded port connections, with all exhaust ports pipable, providing better protection against harsh environments.

Leser Safety Relief Valves
LSRV
Relief valves are used to control or limit building pressure in a vessel to avoid system malfunction. Relief valves start operation at a set pressure determined by the system requirements, once the system reaches approximately 90% of set pressure the valve begins to lift and will go into full lift at 10% overpressure. As the pressure in the system drops, the valve starts to close and will fully close once the excess overpressure is relieved and the system drops back down to the operating pressure. WandO offers relief valves for liquid service and safety valves for air and steam service. We stock them in several body materials (bronze, iron, cast steel and stainless steel) and in numerous end connections and sizes. Our relief valves are sized and set to provide the overpressure protection and required capacity for the system that they are installed on. If you require certification, testing and repairs of your relief valves you can count on WandO to be your full-service provider. Model B Thermostatic Control Valve
1048
The AMOT Model B thermostatic 3-way control valves are available in a wide selection of sizes and settings to fill many fluid temperature control requirements. The model B thermostatic control valve may be mounted in any position and use the proven expanding wax principle to actuate the 3-way temperature element assemblies. The model B valves can be used for diverting or mixing service. The AMOT thermostatic valve is a very economical temperature limiting valve for engine and lubricating oil cooling and prevents scalding in-home, motel or hotel hot water supply systems. Radiant heating systems can use these valves in limiting water temperature to avoid surface cracking and over-heating of plastic piping. Other applications include electronic and battery cooling circuits, pump temperature relief valves etc.

AMOT Elements for model B AMOT valves
11275
The AMOT elements are basically the heart of the valve. The valve elements regulate the opening and closing of the valve at a set temperature. A special wax is placed deep in the bottom ‘nut' of the AMOT element. The expansion of the wax will help slide the element and control the flow. This part is connected with these sidebars that are inside this barrel. The sidebars inside the barrel together make the sliding valve. The piston is very robust and nearly impossible to pull by hand. All AMOT elements can be calibrated and adjusted at the required set temperature. The sliding of the element piston will control where the flow is going based on what is happening with the temperature of the medium. The element is closed when the media is cold or below the nominal temperature. When the wax gets heated, it will expand and push the sliding valve out, which will cause the AMOT element to open. How does the element work inside a valve: Crack open Element closed below Crack Open Temperature. All the flow is coming from the B port, bypass, and goes to the A port. Nothing is coming from the C port in a 3-way valve situation. 50% open position Element is 50% open at Control Temperature. After the crack open temperature has been reached, the element will be open, maybe not all the way, and some flow is coming from B, some from C, and will get mixed going thru A. Full open Element 100% open above Full Open Temperature. All the flow is coming from the C port, the cooler side, and the media is hotter than the nominal temperature. Once enough cold media has gone thru that the element cools down, the element will close. The crack open temperature of AMOT elements for valves may variate between 12 and 115 degrees celsius. For example, when an element is set at 60°C, it will crack open at 55°C. Below that, the flow is between A and B ports. Between 55°C and 65°, the flow goes thru the three ports. Above 20°C, the flow goes between C and A. The maximum temperature is a fascinating setting, and sometimes we forget about it. With extended heat, the wax may start losing its characteristics. In short, above the maximum temperature, the wax inside the valve element is burned. Burning the wax, we lose some physical features that allow expanding at a specific temperature. ER2000 Electronic Controller
2183
The Clorius ER 2000 electronic controller is used for constant temperature control. It is suitable for all heating and cooling control systems. The controller is primarily intended for marine installations and other industrial applications – such as cooling water and lubricating oil installations, flow temperature control etc. Design The ER 2000 controller is designed for panel mounting. For an easy start-up, it has optimization for the automatic determination of favourable control parameters. The optimization starts when changing the set point or when switching over from manual mode to automatic control. The optimization can be disregarded. For easy operation, it has three keys – two for scrolling or changing values and an enter key. Two digital displays show the process variable and the setpoint. 3 LEDs indicate actuator opens, actuator closes and alarm. The controller can be switched from auto mode to manual mode. In manual mode, the actuator can be opened, closed or stopped in a certain position. Three different alarm settings are possible: Alarm at a deviation from the setpoint SP Alarm at a fixed limit value Alarm at leaving a band around the setpoint SP It can operate either as a three-position or as a two-position controller or analogue (4-20 mA) controller and has an adjustable proportional band, integral action time and derivative action time. Function The temperature input comes via a Pt 100 sensor with a single sensing element. The measured value of the controlled variable is compared with the setpoint value and adjusted via a PI or a PID control structure. The ER 2000 can act as either a heating controller, the actuator closes at rising temperature, or as a cooling controller, the actuator opens at rising temperature. The ER 2000 permits direct reading of the actual temperature value (PV), and it is secured from failure in the measuring circuit, i.e. the controller can be set to give either a closing, an opening, or remain in current position command in case of sensor short circuit or sensor break. The error message Err appears in the LED display PV.
