Disco-Trac

Disco-Trac

DT

Direct Insertion Single Chamber Oversize = The best approach for indicating level! The Disco-Trac combines the operating system of a conventional float-based magnetic level indicator (MLI) with a guided wave radar transmitter (GWR). This integration allows for reliable and accurate level measurement in a simple and elegant design. The device features a 3-inch or 4-inch chamber that houses both the GWR probe and the MLI float. These components work seamlessly together to provide electronic guided wave radar measurement and visual indication. Disco-Trac offers two independent level technologies using a single set of process taps, ensuring true redundant measurement. A single chamber is achieved by adding a slotted baffle plate inside the chamber, which separates the float and GWR probe. The Guided Wave Radar transmitter independently reads the liquid level, providing accurate output even in the event of float failure. Additionally, the GWR can accurately read the true level of the fluid even if the density of the product varies. Questtec has partnered with leading GWR companies to provide customers selection flexibility based on specific application needs. GWR is preferred in the industry for its easy setup, reliable operation, measurement accuracy, and resistance to changing process conditions.

Magne-Trac Plus

Magne-Trac Plus

MTP

The Magne-Trac Plus combines a Magne-Trac magnetic level indicator with a Bridle-Trac bypass chamber, in which a customer specified guided wave or non-contact radar may be installed. Although either instrument may be connected to the vessel, Questtec recommends that the bridle functions as the primary chamber. By using the magnetic gauge as the secondary chamber, the customer will have the option to rotate the indicator up to 180 degrees easily in the field. The two chambers may welded or flanged together; QTS recommends installing valves in between the magnetic gauge and bridle chamber so one may be isolated if necessary.
