Jerguson Flashproof Magnetic Level Gage
Magnicator
The Jerguson FlashProof design addresses two potential problems that may occur with standard level indicators: boiling fluids and flashing vapors. By employing a larger 3″ Schedule 40 pipe and two internal guide rods, entrained gases that build up under the float can harmlessly escape. The float is held to one side of the chamber to insure an optimized magnetic field in close proximity to the indicator, transmitter or switches. This provides an accurate float level and indicator reading. The Jerguson FlashProof design also addresses problems caused by dirty or viscous services. The use of an oversized 3″ Schedule 40 chamber creates additional space to prevent the float from binding when dirt, sludge, or wax-like solids are present in the process fluid. In a standard gage dirty service could potentially bind the float, causing the level to appear unchanged. Additionally, the bypass zone allows for the gage to be flushed without removing the float from the column. Specification Overview Larger diameter chamber with float guides Complies to ASME B31.1 and ASME B31.3 Available with full range of Jerguson indicators, transmitters, and switches 3″ Schedule 40 pipe chamber as standard Schedule 80 and 120 available for high pressure applications Size Range from 12″ to 240″ vessel centers Specific Gravity Minimum: 0.36 Pressure class rating up to 1919 PSIG (132BarG) @ 100° F (37°C), as per ASME B31.3 Temperature Range: -325°F to 1000°F (-198°C to 538°C)"

Jerguson SAS-16 Switch
SAS-16
The switch mechanism is based on a unique Jerguson tri-magnet design where the snap action is accomplished by the utilization of magnetic repulsion. The magnet mounted in the float causes the secondary magnet to rotate as it passes up and down. The switch magnet is repelled by the secondary and snaps to the opposite side. This causes the cradle to pivot, moving the push rod which operates the switch contacts. The result is positive snap action interlock switching – no springs…no cams…no problems. Externally Mounted – No Contact with Fluid Process Suitable for Applications up to 750ºF! Fully Adjustable Switch Post Highly Resistant to Vibration SPDT (Single-Pole Double-Throw) Standard Anodized Aluminum Enclosure; Available in 316 Stainless Steel FM Approved with IECEx and ATEX versions available

Jerguson Mini-Magnicator light duty industrial level device
Mini-Mag
Models Beginning With: MII-15B. The Mini-Magnicator is specifically designed for the light duty industrial market. These versatile and economical level devices can be utilized in a variety of applications. How It Works: The Magnetic Level Gage chamber contains a float, with magnets, that rises and falls as liquid level changes in the storage vessel. The float is magnetically coupled to the external indicator, whose flags rotate to indicate level, as the float travels by. The updated design utilizes the Jerguson patented magnetic arrangement for superior reliability. The Magnet Matters! Jerguson uses a unique float construction with 360 degree ring magnets with north poles opposing. This yields a strong focused magnetic field which eliminates skipped flags and provides reliable activation of switches and transmitters. Features: Superior visual level indication from extended distance – Wide Indicator standard (flags with integral magnets) NEW! Float design can now operate reed switches and various transmitters Shock and vibration resistant Considerable upgrade for armored or tubular glass with – Less maintenance and leak paths Easy Installation Economical means for level indication Construction to ASME B31.3 std. / B31.1 optional Custom Engineered designs. Specifications: 1.5"" Sch 10 Chamber Max Pressure: 475 psig (32.7 barg) Max Temp: 650°F (343°C) S.G. Down to .59 Flange Class: 150# and 300# Materials of Construction: All 316SS, All 304SS, 316 or 304 with CS trim Visible Range: 1' – 18.5' NACE MR0103/0175 (Consult M100.30 Magnicator Specification Guide for configuration selection)

Jerguson External Cage Float Operated Magnetic Level Switch
ECLS
Jerguson® External Cage Float Operated Magnetic Level Switch. Features Tri-Magnet Switching Vibration Resistant Weatherproof Flameproof Sealed (shown) or Flanged Cage Body 316 SS Trim ASME B31.1/B31.3 Design Operation The float drives a stainless steel sheathed permanent magnet attached to the float rod in the glandless pressure tube. As the float rises and falls with a changing liquid level the float assembly moves upwards inside the pressure tube. ?A switch mechanism is mounted inside the enclosure adjacent to the pressure tube, and is activated by the rising or falling magnet. ?The vertical movement of the float magnet in the pressure tube simultaneously actuates the secondary and switch magnets within the switch mechanism, to operate the contacts. This “three-magnet” system enables the float magnet to pass the switch and actuate switch mechanisms at other levels. Switch mechanisms which are actuated will not reset until the float magnet actuates the switch mechanism on a falling level. ?Switching is achieved with the unique tri-magnet snap-action switch system.

Jerguson 20 Series Medium Pressure Glass Level Gage
20-Series
Medium Pressure Glass Liquid Level Gages Features Recessed Gasket Seat in Chamber and Cover Tempered Borosilicate Glass conforming to BS3463, JIS B8211, and DIN 7081 Wetted Parts conform to NACE MR0175 and MR0103 All parts listed in ASTM and ASME B31.3 ABS Certified Carbon Steel Covers are Shrouded to Protect the Glass Edges All Gages feature a continuous, one-piece chamber regardless of length The Jerguson Series 20 Glass Gage is the most common gage produced and will cover 80-85% of the applications encountered. Important features include a recessed gasket surface (standard on all gage series) and shrouded covers. A recessed gasket surface provides positive location of the seal gasket during both assembly and field repair and also makes it possible to repair a Jerguson glass liquid level gage while it is mounted to the vessel. The recessed gasket surface is also an important safety feature in the fact that it contains the gasket and helps prevent lateral movement which could lead to a gasket blow-out (as with competitive gages.)
