Reliance Simpliport Boiler Water Glass Gage

Reliance Simpliport Boiler Water Glass Gage

Simpliport 180 Water Gage System

Installed worldwide since 1962, Simpliport® Boiler Water Level Glass Gages provide reliable direct-reading, bi-color indication up to 3000 PSI (206 Bar).  Continuous advancements to the Simpliport design have made them easier to install, easier to maintain and now, much easier to view. Wherever you may be standing within 180° of the Simpliport Wide Angle Hood, you can clearly see the bright red or green indication of steam and water level.  You will decrease your exposure time to the boiler environment, while maintaining a crystal clear view of a direct reading gage as required by ASME. The Simpliport 180 System consists of a stainless-steel gage body, an LED illuminator assembly, and a wide angle optic viewing hood assembly. There are no service parts associated with the viewing hood assembly LED Illuminator Features the brightest LEDs in the boiler gage industry  Low power consumption (< .1 Amp)  LEDs generate no heat  120 or 240 VAC operation  Indoor or outdoor use The new Simpliport LED Illuminator features high-intensity long life red and green LED’s and eliminates the traditional red and green glass color strips. The service life of the LEDs is up to 10 years, which far exceeds any traditional incandescent or halogen lamps in previous models. Wide Angle Hood Optional Sun Shield (only adds 5 inches (127 mm) to the length of the Viewing Hood)  Clear and bright viewing from any angle, any distance Improves visibility of existing Simpliport gages…can provide clearer readings from dirty, contaminated gages...easy field retrofits! Eliminates need for mirrors in most applications Easy to install: no tools required to install or remove illuminator hood from gage For indoor or outdoor use

Reliance Eye-Hye SmartLevel Boiler Indication System

Reliance Eye-Hye SmartLevel Boiler Indication System

Eye-Hye SmartLevel

The all new Eye-Hye® SmartLevel™ Boiler Indication System adds patented technology to intelligently monitor the condition of its probes which sense water level in the boiler’s steam drum. When the probes require cleaning to remove residue and mineral build-up to maintain their accuracy, the system’s smart technology unambiguously notifies the control room or other remote locations that a probe column blowdown (cleaning) is necessary. If the blue light on the indicator is illuminated, a blowdown is needed. The World’s Smartest Boiler Water Level Indication System Intelligence That Improves Steam Efficiency Patented technology. Self-diagnostic sensor technology. Adapts to your communication systems. Optimum quality steam for heat rate efficiency. Designed for global applications The system’s intelligence can distinguish “dirty” probes from probes that need to be replaced. Also, the Eye-Hye SmartLevel system eliminates the need for frequent blowdowns. Now, blowdowns can be performed when the blue indicator is illuminated (the probes need cleaning) or for scheduled cleaning of the connecting piping. Operator exposure to hazardous areas is minimized…unnecessary “nuisance” repair trips are eliminated.  Longer probe and valve life… blowdowns are performed only when necessary, reducing wear.  Pinpoints the failure of any module or peripheral in the system to simplify repair.

Reliance Flat Glass Gage

Reliance Flat Glass Gage

FG Series

Flat Glass Water Gages (450 – 2000 PSI) The precision manufacturing of these time-tested designs assures outstanding performance and service life. Choose from single, double or triple windows for ultimate visibility. FG Series Gages provide wide-body construction for added strength and rigidity. Tempered flat glass composition of premium quality to resist thermal shock. All glass is tested for surface trueness prior to assembly and is protected with a high quality mica shield for steam applications. All models feature finger-clamps which impart a uniform, perpendicular load across the glass surface, assuring gasket tightness. This design allows easy dismantling for cleaning and servicing. A window slot, 5/8” (15.9 mm) wide, provides high visibility gage reading. For many installations, Water Gage Illuminators are recommended to improve gage readability.

Levalarm

Levalarm

REA100F-1000

NEW Levalarm 1000 Float Level Switch: For Pressures up to 1000 psi (69 Bar) Zero effect from heat, vibration or loss of electrical power Positive interlocking magnet design – proven over 30 years of use Drop-in design requires no adjustments to commission. The Levalarm REA100F-1000 float switch represents a major step forward in reliability.  It employs a robust dual magnet design with a positive interlock. A stainless-steel float is attached to the end of a rod with a stainless-steel encapsulated magnet. The float magnet pivots vertically on an axle inside the chamber. The primary magnet on the float rod drives the secondary magnet located inside the switch housing. The secondary magnet movement causes a physical activation of a switch. The use of repelling magnetic fields creates a positive interlocking switch that is both vibration resistant and compensates for installation misalignment. A buoyed float will cause the reaction of the magnets to hold the switch open or closed, depending on which terminals are used.

Jerguson Flashproof Magnetic Level Gage

Jerguson Flashproof Magnetic Level Gage

Magnicator

The Jerguson FlashProof design addresses two potential problems that may occur with standard level indicators: boiling fluids and flashing vapors.  By employing a larger 3″ Schedule 40 pipe and two internal guide rods, entrained gases that build up under the float can harmlessly escape.  The float is held to one side of the chamber to insure an optimized magnetic field in close proximity to the indicator, transmitter or switches.  This provides an accurate float level and indicator reading. The Jerguson FlashProof design also addresses problems caused by dirty or viscous services.  The use of an oversized 3″ Schedule 40 chamber creates additional space to prevent the float from binding when dirt, sludge, or wax-like solids are present in the process fluid.  In a standard gage dirty service could potentially bind the float, causing the level to appear unchanged.  Additionally, the bypass zone allows for the gage to be flushed without removing the float from the column. Specification Overview Larger diameter chamber with float guides Complies to ASME B31.1 and ASME B31.3 Available with full range of Jerguson indicators, transmitters, and switches 3″ Schedule 40 pipe chamber as standard Schedule 80 and 120 available for high pressure applications Size Range from 12″ to 240″ vessel centers Specific Gravity Minimum: 0.36 Pressure class rating up to 1919 PSIG (132BarG) @ 100° F (37°C), as per ASME B31.3 Temperature Range: -325°F to 1000°F (-198°C to 538°C)"
