PGT43.100 / 43.160 Diaphragm Pressure Gauge

PGT43.100 / 43.160 Diaphragm Pressure Gauge

3394

Wherever the process pressure has to be indicated locally and, at the same time, a signal transmission to the central control or remote centre is desired, the WIKA PGT43.100 / 43.160 diaphragm pressure gauge intelliGAUGE® (patent, property right: e.g. DE 202007019025) can be used. The WIKA PGT43 is based upon a WIKA 43x.30 high-quality, stainless steel safety pressure gauge with a nominal size of 100 or 160. The pressure measuring instrument is manufactured in accordance with EN 837-3. The intelliGAUGE WIKA PGT43.100 / 43.160 diaphragm pressure gauge fulfils all safety-related requirements of the relevant standards and regulations for the on-site display of the working pressure of pressure vessels. The robust diaphragm measuring system produces a pointer rotation proportional to the pressure. An electronic angle encoder, proven in safety-critical automotive applications, determines the position of the pointer shaft “ it is a non-contact sensor and therefore completely free from wear and friction. From this, the electrical output signal proportional to the pressure, e.g. 4 … 20 mA, is produced. The measuring span (electrical output signal) is adjusted automatically along with the mechanical display, i.e. the scale over the full display range corresponds to 4 … 20 mA. The electrical zero point can also be set manually. The electronic WIKA sensor, integrated into the high-quality diaphragm pressure gauge, combines the advantages of electrical signal transmission with a local mechanical display that remains readable during a power failure. An additional measuring point for mechanical pressure display can thus be saved.

At any point where the process pressure has to be indicated locally, and, at the same time, a signal is wanted to be transmitted to a central controller or remote control room, the WIKA PGT43HP.100 / 43HP.160 intelliGAUGE can be used. Due to the metallic construction of the pressure elements, these instruments have a high overpressure safety in the ranges of 40, 100 and 400 bar. Through the combination of a high-quality mechanical measuring system and precise electronic signal processing, the process pressure can be read securely, even if the power supply is lost. The intelliGAUGE PGT43HP fulfils all safety-related requirements of the relevant standards and regulations for the on-site display of the operating pressure of pressure vessels. An additional measuring point for mechanical pressure indication can thus be saved. The WIKA model PGT43HP is based upon a model 432.36 high-quality, stainless steel safety pressure gauge with a nominal size of 100 or 160. The pressure gauge is manufactured in accordance with EN 837-3. The rugged design of the diaphragm measuring system produces a pointer rotation proportional to the pressure. An electronic angle encoder, proven in safety-critical automotive applications, determines the position of the pointer shaft – it is a non-contact sensor and therefore completely free from wear and friction. From this, the electrical output signal proportional to the pressure, e.g. 4 … 20 mA, is produced. The electronic WIKA transmitter, integrated into the high-quality mechanical pressure gauge, combines the advantages of electrical signal transmission with the benefits of a local mechanical display. The measuring span (electrical output signal) is set automatically along with the automatic display, i.e. the scale over the full display range corresponds to 4 … 20 mA. The electrical zero point can also be set manually.

PGS23.1x0 Bourdon Tube Pressure Gauge

PGS23.1x0 Bourdon Tube Pressure Gauge

Wherever the process pressure has to be indicated locally and, at the same time, circuits need to be switched, the WIKA PGS23.100 and PGS23.160 switchGAUGE finds its use. Switch contacts (electrical switch contacts) make or break an electric control circuit dependent upon the pointer position of the indicating measuring instrument. The switch contacts are adjustable over the full extent of the scale range (see DIN 16085), and are mounted predominantly below the dial, though also partly on top of the dial. The instrument pointer (actual value pointer) moves freely across the entire scale range, independent of the setting. The set pointer can be adjusted using a removable adjustment key in the window. Switch contacts consisting of several contacts can also be set to a single set point. Contact actuation is made when the actual value pointer travels beyond or below the desired set point. The pressure gauge is manufactured in accordance with DIN 16085 and fulfils all requirements of the relevant standards (EN 837-1) and regulations for the on-site display of the working pressure of pressure vessels. As switch contacts, magnetic snap-action contacts, reed switches, inductive contacts and electronic contacts are available. Inductive contacts can be used in hazardous areas. For triggering programmable logic controllers (PLC), electronic contacts and reed switches can be used.

A2G-mini Differential Pressure Gauge

A2G-mini Differential Pressure Gauge

5075

The WIKA A2G-mini differential pressure gauge can be used for monitoring differential pressures of the filter units in small and medium-sized central air-handling units. Further application cases are in industrial air extraction units and dust extraction plants as well as in the cleanroom industry. Its compact design and flush panel mounting enable an optimal integration in the enclosure structures of ventilation equipment. The pure metal design “ with the case of stainless steel and the measuring system and movement from copper alloy “ ensures maximum hygiene. Due to its silicone-free materials, the instrument can also be used in the painting industry and its applications. The high IP68 ingress protection and the UV-stabilised window also enable operation in outdoor areas.

PG23HP-S Bourdon Tube Pressure Gauge

PG23HP-S Bourdon Tube Pressure Gauge

5085

The WIKA PG23HP-S Bourdon tube pressure gauge is designed particularly for high-pressure applications up to 3,000 bar. Typical measuring points for the PG23HP-S pressure gauge are found in water jet cutting, high-pressure cleaning and test bench construction. WIKA produces and qualifies the PG23HP-S gauge by the requirements of the new DIN 16001 high-pressure standard in the S3 safety version. The safety version is made up of laminated safety glass, a solid baffle wall between measuring system and dial and a blow-out back. In the event of a failure, the operator is protected from the front side, as media or components can only be ejected via the back of the instrument. The proven, all-welded construction ensures a long service life and permanent sealing. The resistance to shock and vibration can be increased by the optional silicone oil case filling.
