PG43SA-S Pressure Gauge
2753
The WIKA PG43SA pressure gauge is designed for the requirements of sanitary applications. The purely mechanical pressure transmission, using the diaphragm-element measuring principle, and the high overpressure safety ensure a safe pressure measurement. As a result of the dry measuring cell, the risk of contamination of the product by transmission fluid is eliminated. The flush welded diaphragm element in conjunction with the aseptic process connections (e.g. clamp, threaded, VARIVENT®, BioControl®) enables a dead-space free connection to the process. The pressure gauge finds applications, for example, in systems for ultrapure steam generation or as an independent pressure display, without the need for an external power supply, on portable tanks. The PG43SA-S in hygienic design can be used for CIP (cleaning in place) and SIP (sterilisation in place) and in wash-down areas. The measuring instrument can thus be cleaned reliably and time-efficiently. At an easily accessible point on the top of the case, the zero point can be easily corrected. Based on a third-party verification, WIKA's model PG43SA-S corresponds to the 3-A Sanitary Standard. A variety of 3.1 and 2.2 certificates are available for GMP-compliant documentation, such as a material certificate or the list of single measured values.

THM10 Thermomanometer
2756
The WIKA THM10 thermomanometer combines the measurement of pressure and temperature in one instrument. This enables the control of both measurement parameters at one single measurement point. The built-in measuring elements – Bourdon tube and bimetal coil – provide for reliable measuring results. By using the self-sealing shut-off valve, the measuring instrument can be dismounted at any time and without having to empty the heating circuit first. The bimetal thermomanometer is delivered with a shut-off valve as standard.

PG43SA-D Diaphragm Pressure Gauge
2811
The WIKA PG43SA-D pressure gauge has been designed specifically for the highest safety requirements in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Through its patented diaphragm monitoring, the risk of an undetected rupture of the diaphragm is eliminated since a red warning dot is immediately displayed on the dial. If this point on the dial remains white, then the pressure element is intact, and cost-intensive maintenance on the measuring point is not required. In the event of a diaphragm rupture, a second barrier in the pressure measuring instrument ensures the reliable separation of ambience and process. The diaphragm pressure gauge transmits the pressure, purely mechanically and without transmission fluid, from the process to the pressure element. Due to their thickness, the diaphragm elements are very robust and have high overpressure safety, ensuring a safe pressure measurement without any risk of contamination. The flush welded diaphragm element in conjunction with the aseptic process connections enables a dead-space free connection to the process. The independent pressure display, needing no external power, finds applications with the processing and transport of high-quality and critical media, for example on portable tanks.WIKA's PG43SA-D in hygienic design can be used for CIP (cleaning in place) and SIP (sterilisation in place) and in wash-down areas, or it can be completely sterilised in an autoclave. The measuring instrument can thus be cleaned reliably and time-efficiently. The model PG43SA-D conforms to the 3-A Sanitary Standard and is certified by EHEDG.

612.20 Capsule Pressure Gauge
2861
The WIKA 612.20 capsule pressure gauge is based upon the proven capsule measuring system. The capsule measuring principle is particularly suitable for low pressures. On pressurisation, the expansion of the capsule element, proportional to the incident pressure, is transmitted to the movement and indicated. The case and the bayonet ring are made from stainless steel. The material of the process connection is a copper alloy. The modular design enables a multitude of combinations of case materials, process connections, nominal sizes and scale ranges. Due to this high variance, the instrument is suitable for use in a wide range of applications within the industry. For mounting in control panels, the capsule pressure gauges can, depending on the process connection, be fitted with a surface mounting flange or with a triangular bezel and mounting bracket.

432.50 / 433.50 Diaphragm Pressure Gauge
3283
Diaphragm pressure gauges are preferably used for low-pressure ranges. Through the large working surface of the circular, corrugated diaphragm element, small pressure ranges can be measured reliably. The WIKA 432.50 diaphragm pressure gauge is manufactured in accordance with EN 837-3. The high-quality design is particularly suitable for applications in the chemical and petrochemical industry, oil and gas industry and power engineering. The case and wetted parts from stainless steel fulfil high requirements for resistance against aggressive media. For especially high resistance requirements, the pressure chamber of this diaphragm pressure gauge can, as an option, be designed with a wide variety of unique materials such as PTFE, tantalum or Hastelloy. For the measurement of highly viscous, crystallising or contaminated media, the use of an open connecting flange is recommended. The open connecting flange has the advantage over a threaded connection that the pressure port cannot become blocked. With an additional flushing connection on the open connecting flange, the pressure chamber can be easily cleaned. Measuring systems with diaphragm elements, on the grounds of their design, offer excellent protection from overpressure, since the diaphragm can support itself against the upper flange. As standard, the model 432.50 diaphragm pressure gauge already features an overload safety of 5 times the full-scale value. Optionally, higher overload safeties can be realised.

432.56 / 433.36 Diaphragm Pressure Gauge
3286
The WIKA 432.56 / 433.36 gauges with diaphragm pressure elements are gaseous and liquid aggressive media, also in an aggressive ambience. The 432.56 and 433.36 are specially developed for measuring points with increased overpressure. Dependant upon the pressure range and the instrument model, overpressure safety of 3 x or 5 x full-scale value is possible as standard. For unique designs, an overpressure safety of 10, 40, 100 or 400 bar is possible, with the measuring accuracy maintained. Liquid filling the case ensures a precise instrument display, even with high dynamic pressure loads and vibrations. Special wetted parts materials are available as options. Ask our product specialist for further personalised information. Wherever the process pressure has to be indicated locally and, at the same time, circuits need to be switched, the model 432.56 or 432.36 switchGAUGE finds its use. Switch contacts (electrical alarm contacts) close or open circuits dependent upon the pointer position of indicating measuring instruments. The switch contacts are adjustable over the full extent of the scale range (see DIN 16085), and are mounted predominantly below the dial, though also partly on top of the dial. The instrument pointer (actual value pointer) moves freely across the entire scale range, independent of the setting. The set pointer can be adjusted using a removable adjustment key in the window. Switch contacts consisting of several contacts can also be set to a single set point. Contact actuation is made when the actual value pointer travels beyond or below the desired set point. The pressure gauge is manufactured in accordance with DIN 16085 and fulfils all requirements of the relevant standards (EN 837-3) and regulations for the on-site display of the working pressure of pressure vessels. As switch contacts magnetic snap-action contacts, reed switches, inductive contacts – for requirements to ATEX – or electronic contacts for triggering a PLC are available. For further information on the different switch contacts please see data sheet AC 08.01.
